Opened up the latest Motorcyclist Mag today in Dillons. As most, I thumb from the back to the front. Well there on the FIRST page of the mag was an ICON ad. It has a chick with a rather large PISTOL drawn. I about fell over. REALLY????? A motorcycle gear ad with a chick ready to Kick Some Brass. DONT GET ME wrong here, I like my S&Ws just as much as the next guy and I carry too sometimes but in a Motorcycle ad????? Come On!!! Whos the clientel there going after here? Gangs? I mean I will say that the only group of riders that I have seen wearing ICON stuff is the Prodominently ( sp) black Rough Riders bike gang here in ICT. Its all Crotch Rocket to the max with these guys. I dont know, just thought It was a bit much is all. Havent ever seen a guy in an Arostitch ad tote'n an AR. I must be getting OLD.

Icon uses 'Shock" value in a bunch of their ads. I have been told by more than one motorcylce gear dealer that they make low quaility stuff, but they are good at advertising. I don't get their ads either but, what do I know?

You both know enough to avoid their gear.
