Nothing sounds cooler that a V12.
I personally avoid Shell. I yet to find one that doesnt have 10% ethenol in it. I was having problems with the local station in Goddard. After a couple weeks in the tank, it would run like crap. Water????

And that is going to be the primary downside to the electric car...missing that sound! Love it!

My understanding is that when IBM came out with test models of its first Selectric typewriter, secretaries complained that it was too quiet. They kept looking down to see if it was actually typing. So IBM engineers made it louder. Perhaps electric cars will have a soundtrack and an awesome stereo.

In the movie, Dilemma starring Kevin James and Vince Vaughn, the two portray a couple of guys with a startup company pitching their engine sound generation technology to the big car makers for use in their electric muscle cars.
The movie is terrible--boring, terrible acting, rarely funny.
