My new bike!
My new bike!
Well, after unloading the GG i have found my next bike. Here it is:
Lets play to see who can guess its year/make/model.
The motor is off to maxpower getting a big bore kit installed.
The wheels are off to Woodys getting superlaced and trued.
The GPR is off to GPR getting tuned up and the appropriate mounts kit.
The frame is off to the car wash getting cleaned up.
All new parts coming from various vendors around the web, she'll be new top to bottom!
Looking forward to Wudi, fingers crossed I have it back together by then.
btw-i bought it in pieces, just like its pictured! and no pic of the frame yet, i think that will give it away!

Re: My new bike!
It is(or was) a 250 2 stroke! Here's a teaser shot of all the new goodies.......
Everything will be replaced or rebuilt! Missing from the pic are the wheels(woodys called and said i need all new spokes, nipples were rusted on), the new cylinder big bore and bars/damper, chain and sprox, new bigger tank!
Once the wheels get back(next week) i will start putting it all back together. Then you'll see the frame and can probably figure out what make it is!

I'm pretty sure it's a DR350. He said 2-stroke to throw us off the trail. Serious enthusiasts understand the DR350 was and is one of the baddest motorcycles ever created. Guys who own them (or ever did) are worthy of the highest respect.

Anything with wheels is inherently dangerous. If you are concerned about your safety & well-being, I suggest walking, as a safe alternative

Troy you are close, but alas, im not worth of such DR'd'ness!! Motoracer13 is the closest so far.....
Wheels are back from Woody's, new stainless spokes and super lace done. Those spokes look like they're 1/4''!! New Bridgestone 604/3 tires and Tubliss all mounted up!
Talked with MaxPower and the bigbore should be done next week, starting to get excited!
