RideForum.NET has only been online about 24 hours, but I'm very encouraged by the momentum we have going.
There are a LOT of BackroadsTouring riders that I know, but do not know how to contact them to tell them about RideForum.NET. If any of you have a way to contact any of these guys (and a ton that I don't remember names for), please spread the word. I posted the announcement to kcdualsport, midwest-dualsporters, and Flint Hills Adventure Riders, so hopefully that covers some of these people.
Tye (made it!)
Branden (Faust?)
Britt
Gordon
Chris Allen
Dennis Gowing
Greg Mitchell
etc.
I sent an invite to Roger, but I don't see him yet, either.
The names are failing me...but there are dozens of riders. Between the 19 current registered users, surely we can reach more of these people.
The Kansas dualsport community is not dead, it is entering a new life!

I sent Ty Wood an email to let him know about the site. I think Tracy has a good idea to ask Roger to post your link on the BTK site.

THANKS for the kind words! Thank you also for contacting people to let them know.
BackroadsTouring has a link to RideForum.NET calling it a forum for Kansas City and NE Kansas, but this forum is for all dualsport riders--especially all Kansas riders. There is no reason it has to stay Kansas-bound, but that is definitely the immediate focus.

Glad you found us, Tye! Look at the Member list (menu option at top) and if you have contact info for any riders who are not already signed up, please let them know.
Last year, we had great riding weather on both Christmas and New Year's weekends!

This year it looks like we may have rain/snow both weekends.
