When: August 25, 2015 anytime after 5:00

Where: Grain Valley Airport
Ryan's (rycomm) hanger

What: Ryan has volunteered to grill at his hanger. He will supply either hot dogs, hamburgers or chicken. Anything else you want to eat, bring with you.

Who: all trail and adventure riders invited. If you never attended this would be a great event to come and meet everybody. This will be a good time to talk about the TAR Fall ride.

Ryan will follow up with an address and directions to his hanger.

Reserving this spot for more info.

East Kansas City airport address is 600 EE Kirby Grain Valley Mo 64029

I'm at the west end, and I will try to find the address to the west entrance, if there is one.
It is on 40 hwy, just east of Barr road, about a 1 mile west of Kirby rd. The gate should be open.

Thanks, Ryan

As of right now, I'm planning on being there around 4, probably earlier too, but will have some errands to run. I'm planning on grilling some chicken, and hotdogs too. I'll probably make some potatoes and maybe some baked beans too. I'll have a cooler iced down with some water, and maybe some pop. If you want anything specific, you may want to bring it. I have a few chairs and a couple tables. You may consider bringing a chair, if wanted. I've also invited a few airplane people, so there may be a few airplanes around.
Let me know if you are thinking of coming, so I'll have enough foodfor everyone.

Thanks, Ryan

I would love to show up if everyone is cool with that. Let me know what is needed and I will take four wheels instead of two. Lol

Wish I could make it, but will be in Bentonville next week.

Maybe Steve could swing by Bentonville on his commute from LXT? Not exactly on the way though.

I've found a few more chairs, and some makeshift tables.
Two, four, or three wheeled arrivals are all welcome.

The hangar is on the west end of the airport, very close to the gate on 40 highway, just east of Barr rd. Or about a mile west of the official EE Kirby road address. I'll try to make it pretty obvious where it is. There is plenty of room to park cars and planes nearby.

Let me know if the are any questions or requests.

Ryan

Ryan maybe I know you. What kind of plane do you have? My dad has a hanger at east KC as well and I am there a lot. His is in the middle of the north east hanger and he flys a white rv6a with blue and red stripes. Drives a green KLR as well. His name is Glen Lewis.

So far, I've got 12lbs of chicken marinating, 30 hotdogs, 5 lbs of potatoes, and a pot of baked beans ready to be smoked tomorrow. I have some Coke, Sprite, tea (sweet and not), and water. I have a few tables and several chairs. I think I've got something planned for a few more chairs. I have some plates and plastic ware, as well as some cups. There should be some ice around too. About the only thing I don't have is appetizers (snacks), dessert, or anything healthy. We may need more drinks, so if someone's wants something other than what I listed, you may want to bring that.

Looks like we're going to have awesome weather. I'm excited.

I'll be there by 4, and planning on being ready to eat around 6:30 or 7:00.

Thanks, Ryan

It's just south of I70 on 40 highway, between Adams Dairy Rd, and the Grain Valley Exit. There is a big orange and white water tower and a giant flag just to the north on I70. Or Google " East Kansas City airport."

Blue hangar on the west end, near the gate.

I am going to attempt to bring a couple pies, but they may end up looking like cobbler by the time I get there. Lol
