Reminder.

June 2nd Ride:
Working on a route from my front door (I-29 & NW 64th St/45 Hwy) to Weston, current ride time is 1:45 with two possible little side trips. Trying to catch gravel roads, however most of the ride will be pavement. I can be ready to roll by 2 p.m.

If we get to Weston early there is a spot where you can get to the river NE of town.

Todd, who lives up north, has agreed to lead us on a ride to Weston Brewery on June 2. If you would like to be a part of the group ride, meeet in the 64th Street Hyvee parking lot at 5:00 on June 2. The ride to Weston will take about 1:45.

Just a heads up--I'll be in a Denver for my sister's wedding on June 27th, so I'll miss the dinner party. That was a real nice time last time you hosted us at your place, Randy.

Also, I recommend you create a separate, dedicated thread for the dinner party to avoid confusing discussion branches that may obscure one or both events in this thread.

For the June 2nd ride to Weston, I'm about 95% sure I'm "out". The family and I get back from Mexico at 1:30, and I doubt I'll have the energy to make a Weston ride and back as we start our journey home at around 3:30AM.

I'll have to miss that awkward moment when I'm the only one at the table ordering a beer. Enjoy the ride and dinner.

Is the ride going to be big bike friendly? Trying to decide if I need to get the Wr250 across town, or the Vstrom.

Unless Todd has permission to ride through a few thousand acres of private land and has worked over the last year or so cutting trail, I'm pretty sure this Kansas road ride will be Vstrom friendly.

Don't know how I missed that. Thought I read everything twice....
may ride the other street bike in that case.
