Who is "Steve T"? Also, Steve Shearer, are you coming?

(Randy if/when you need to edit the table, copy & paste into Notepad, edit, then copy back between the "monospace" tags.)
'Steve T' is Steve Tyner or 'Bonanzasteve' on here.

Just sent you a pm. Do you have a bed that fits 2 adults left (one adult is fat)? My wife and I planned to go and saw that we were on the list a few months back. I have forgotten to check back on the web site and to looks like you might be full.

Good idea about the drive (mine is steep as hell - it will probably be straight in) just have to find somewhere there to unload it.
I have had great luck with the nonslip tape you can get from Lowes/Home Depot. It sticks well and lasts a long time, easier to apply.

TODAY IS THE BBQ LIST CUT-OFF. Right now, we have 19 people here on the list. (See 1st post) If 1 or 2 or 5 trickle in after today, we can probably accommodate them as long as they tell me ASAP.

MoKan Riders, who are camping and riding the same weekend, have another 16 folks joining us for Fri Night BBQ. It's gonna be a good time.

All beds in the lodge are full. We still have floor space and couches.

While you're in a shopping mood, you might consider ordering up a good skid plate for that 990 if you don't already have one. We ran a bunch of smooth gravel roads down here yesterday and every time I heard a rock hit my skid plate it reminded me to give you a head's up. Even the easy roads down here have some gnarly rocks that could easily put a hole somewhere you don't want it!

I have the Flatland Racing skid plate on mine- very well built (in Emporia, KS, no less!) and quite a bit cheaper than the Black Dog, or CJ Designs ones that are most popular.

Guys I might be back in on the ride...I know I may have to sleep on the floor of the lodge but I'm okay with that. My wife is pretty much insisting I go and I don't know if it's because she loves me so much she wants to see me happy or she really just wants me the hell out of her hair... :? Either way I need to triple confirm with her tonight.

That said, is there still room in the lodge...floor or otherwise?

Is anybody else getting down to AR Thursday PM? Chad, Colleen, and I are going to leave Thursday and either stay in Huntsville or at Mulberry Mtn. If there are others, we might lean towards Mulberry, but their prices are high for just 3 folks.

Cheers,

Triple confirm??? You are a good man...I learned a long time ago one slight affirmative nod and I don't ask again!

5,000 square feet....we've got plenty of room and sofas.

Probably a good time to start a discussion on sharing rides.

My son and I are leaving Thursday AM. Bonanza Steve lives in my neighborhood so if he can leave on Thursday my guess is that he would ride with us which would make us full. We plan on riding some Thursday so we would stay at one of the cabins at Mulberry. If there is enough of us for Thursday, maybe Mulberry would give us a deal on the lodge. It would be to their advantage rather than cleaning a couple cabins.

Okay, it's official I'm back on for the ride. I'll stay in the lodge on the floor, sofa or whatever. I'm in for BBQ as well. What time will the riding start on Friday? If it's real early then I will likely drive down Thursday night and stay some place cheap in Fayetteville.

Fri Night BBQ Dinner is officially setup for 6:30! Cost is $15/head and includes ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken salad, beans, and pie or cheesecake! I guarantee you will not be disappointed! I'm picking up the food at about 6pm so expect to sit down to eat about 6:30 in the big lodge. 36 folks signed up for dinner right now.

HanesAnizer, got you added to the list in first post. Glad you can make it!

As for logistics, Safiri & I plan to haul down BCOD Fri morning with ETA before noon. We'll get in a good 4 hour ride on Fri before the Q. If anyone else things their ETA would have them ready for kickstands up between noon and 1pm, let me know if you'd like to join us for the trails.

Randy, I think Safiri & I would be open to coming down Thur eve and staying in the lodge if they can give us a great deal on that 3rd night. Folks chime in if you'd be willing to pay for a 3rd night and come down for Thur night so Randy can get a head count.
