Thanks Randy, I had a very enjoyable evening. It was good to see everyone, and the weather was great.

Thanks, Randy!

That was a really nice evening, and you and Linda are excellent hosts. We have a good community of some really great folks. My wife, Jodi, and daughter, Rachel, had a nice time, too.

Randy, let me know when you see FOR SALE signs go up on the shore. Linda, call that California neighbor to see if she is interested in selling the house next to you.

Steve, tell Wanda I enjoyed talking tech with her.

Yes, it was a great time - even though Troy forgot the Cocaine AND the E.

It's always good to put a face to the name.

A big thanks to Randy, Linda and Kramer, that was a fun evening!

Troy, Wanda told me on the way home she enjoyed talking with you and asked me why I didn't tell her ahead of time that you were a tech guy.

Linda and I had a great time...we really do have a great group!

The really great part about the party is that I've been eating leftover brauts, burgers, corn and box wine for the last two days.

That was a good TARKC meeting, but did anyone else notice that we didn't plan any big rides? :D

Just kidding- it was good to see everyone and just relax on the deck. Thanks for providing all the food and drinks, Randy. Alissa is still wanting your recipe for that bean dish you made. I'd say we could host the next get-together but it would be awfully cramped in the one-bedroom apartment that we are getting ready to move into at the end of this week.

Ditto. In fact, I think I heard no less than 4 people request that recipe. Please post it. Seriously. It was delicious.

Linda is flattered and this is a first for me....I've never exchanged a recipe. I wonder if we could turn this forum into a recipe exchange?

1 lb. bacon (I used, "real bacon bits", about 1/2 package)
1 large onion
5 cans drained beans (I used green, kidney, red, pinto and garbanzo)
Package of shredded cheese (I used mozzarella)
1 cup brown sugar (I used 1/2 cup light brown sugar)
1/2 cup ketchup
1 T. Worcestershire
1 T soy sauce (I used light)

Mix all ingredients together but only 1/2 of the cheese. Pour in 9x12 pan and then sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake @ 350 for 1 hour. (I baked for 45 minutes)

Sounds like I missed a great time! Maybe one day I can actually get my house sold and move out. I have not ridden almost all summer long.

It sounds like we both did.

When are we going to see the photos of Troy wearing the lamp shade?

My wife made this dish for our 4th of July cookout and it was a big hit. THANK YOU!

Randy, did you think the Raintree fireworks were weaker than normal this year?

I thought the pro fireworks were weaker and I believe the budget it for them is not as much as it used to be, but the private stuff has gotten so much better I didn't really care to much. I can't imagine what some of these people must spend on fireworks!

Everybody in our boat thought the Lake Winnebago fireworks were much better. Generally, I'm good for about 10 minutes of fireworks and then they all start to look the same. I don't know if you could tell from where you were at but they shot some from on the dam and some below. They attempted to choreograph the two but I don't think it went off as planned.

Thanks Randy! Had a great time. Got me inspired to do 500 miles Monday, 200 yesterday and probably another 200 today. Maybe I will hit more than a few miles of gravel this time...
