April TARKC meeting?

Are there currently any plans for an April TARKC meeting in the works? I was reading Troy's "Welcome" thread in the Rider's Lounge and it made me remember that the beginning of the month was coming up quick.
It might not be a bad time for everyone to get together and discuss/compare their spring riding plans. Not to mention, any final details for the AR trip could be discussed also.
I'd be fine with something simple like just picking a centrally-located restaurant and maybe reserving a table or room. What does everyone else think?

We've been waiting to see if the Freedom Dakar truck and bikes come in but at this point I think it is time to move the Dakar guys to May. So, yeah lets meet Tuesday the 2nd. I'm thinking a good, central location would be something just off 435 and Wornall or State line, Roe etc. There are several places in the Watts Mills area of 435 and State Line but I haven't been in any of them. I think there are a couple places on the north side of 435 and Roe...seems like maybe a Mexican place....anybody know?
Lets go ahead and set it for April 2nd at 7:00. I've done some quick research and there is a Coach's at 103rd and State Line. I've never been there but my wife says it is pretty good. Good, central location just off 435.

Maybe by the 2nd all the snow will be gone!

You realize coaches is divides into a MU and KU side? I don't sit on the MU side.
(I won't be there, I'll be in SC taking the BMW Off Road Riding Course!)

I was kind of wondering about the whole sports bar/March Madness thing. Do you think we'll have a problem getting a table for a decent sized group?

Does there exist anymore a cool coffee house with lots of comfortable seating that also serves sandwiches or soup? Oh, and also does not mind 10+ folks hanging out for a couple of hours.
The sports bar & grill during MM seems unwise...but then again, I don't know much about these things.

There are no games on April 2 so I don't think you will have much of a problem.

Despite the fact that I work for a sports apparel company, I don't know anything about stick and ball sports at this point in my life. Hence the fact that I was concerned with March Madness crowds on April 2nd.

Your first sentence pretty much described Panera to a T. Alissa and I eat there quite a bit and I'm always noticing that groups of people are there. I think as long as we weren't planning on getting too loud or crazy we wouldn't have any problems there.

Knowing that Coach's has a couple back rooms, I just tried unsuccessfully to reserve one of their rooms for April 2. They wanted a guarantee that we would spend $300.
There is a Panera at 103rd and State Line...on the Northeast corner. Lets meet there. I will get there early to get tables in the corner but on a Tuesday evening there shouldn't be any problem.

Actually blackdog coffeehouse on 87th has a room for such situations.
