After 3 attempts, I finally made it to White Cloud with this group.. Great day, with large turnout. Good to see everyone and hopefully, everyone made it home okay.

Great ride, my new favorite! No flats this year, the tire gods were on our side. I didn't get any pictures of other than a few when we were at White Cloud. From Wathena to White Cloud I was way too busy navigating some of the best roads I have been on in awhile. Something about multiple inches of rain in a short period of time. Major erosion cuts running every direction possible, kept our butts sucked tight to the seats. Kudos to the folks of big bikes, don't know how you survived intact. Never ridden in that type of soil type, but I likey.
Considering the distance (225 miles), and the size of the groups, we made record time. I hope I didn't push anyone too hard with my lead pace. I can envision a few rides concentrating on the area north of Wathena, lots of hills and low maintenance roads.
I'm spending the day recovering from a bunch of sore muscles.

No photos from anyone, eh? Glad you all had a good time! That is one of the better dualsport road rides in KS...in my limited experience anyway. That Doniphan County soil is extraordinary--peels off your front tire like water as a boat hull slices through.
