Dearborn, MO Sunday Aug. 17

I just wanted to post a notice about today's ride. I decided to explore some back roads going north from Gladstone to Dearborn, MO. Of course there's lots of pavement and plenty of gravel roads to explore in that direction. I left home about 9:00 am and arrived in Dearborn about 11. I didn't ride directly there, but spent lots of time looking for interesting roads and sights. The farm fields (corn, beans and tobacco) looked terrific! If you were out riding today, I think all would agree this was one of the nicest days to ride for a long time, especially for August.
I wanted to check out the Cook's Corner Cafe in Uptown or Downtown (pessimist or optimist) Dearborn. I found it nice, clean and reasonably priced. I only had coffee and dessert, which was very good.
I feel this would be a great place for a small group ride ( I personally don't care to ride in large groups, but to each his own, right? )
Check it out!

Thanks for the report! Those tobacco fields are beautiful. I'd never seen tobacco fields until dualsporting N. of KC.
