11th Manhattan Fun Ride, Sept 21st!

Here is the date for the fun ride in Manhattan this Fall. Hopefully it is not too cold, but even it is we should not have any problem warming up on those trails and I will heat up the shop to warm up in between.

Please post if you are planning on attending as we will have some food for all to eat so that we have more time to play.

This ride is for everybody but especially for the younger kids that want to have a safe environment to learn. There is different level of difficulties on the trails so everybody should find something at his/her level.

As sure as pumpkin spice you picked a weekend I'm on call for your Fall Ride!! You are getting better at it because in Wichita I'm only on call every 5th weekend where before it was every other weekend. No worries though, I paid a guy off and have cleared my calendar for the next two months!...Let's Ride!

Too bad we will not get to see Lars, but so far it sounds like a pretty good turn out, quite a few people have not posted here but said they were coming! :thumb

In addition to my 12 year old daughter and her too-small-for-her Honda 110 CRF, I now plan to bring her 12 year old friend, Haili, and Haili's high-school brother, Luke.

Luke has some ATV experience, but I don't think he has ridden a motorcycle before. He's too big for my 110, but I'll let him learn on that. If he gets comfortable on that little 110, maybe one of you has a motorcycle he can borrow for a few minutes here and there to enjoy the day.

Also note my 110 will be available for folks that have kids or brand new riders wanting something easy to learn on. I am probably also willing to sell this motorcycle...so if you are interested, just ask.

If you have extra youth protective gear at home you can bring, please do--it might come in handy.

I wish I could come and bring the family. My kids would enjoy helping young riders learn. But my Kids Band, Fake ID will be playing the first annual Little Apple car show and BBQ competition at 11 am. Be safe!
There is absolutely no excuse for what I am about to do.
