My brother (KC on this forum) is out of Wichita and wants to plan a camp ride in the Fall River area. (Fall River is SE KS and in the Southern Flint Hills Region.)

I'll tell him about this thread.

Here's one several from this area are going on.

Leaving the 24th for an all day tour of Kansas into Colorado via gravel/back roads, 25th tour Colorado, 26th tour northern New Mexico and check in at Rally.
Opportunities usually show up in work clothes and get ignored by the masses.

Where is Sudan? Both Google and Yahoo maps fail to find it. Interesting, Yahoo defaulted to pointing me to the center of KS (Which is where Lyons sits.)

Sorry.....Poor Spelling.....Sedan, KS

Sedan is where Bill Kurtis (investigative reports) has his ranch http://www.theredbuffalo.com/ranchmain.asp . The ranch has a beautiful waterfall. The small town is worth seeing.

I always thought Castle Rock would be a cool weekend jont. Then a little farther to Monument Rocks/Chalk Pyramids. This is out in Gove County Western Ks. There is some Pueblo Ruins in Scott County just off of 95 that mite be cool also. You could hit Cedar Bluffs Reservoir on the way out. Of course there is the Barbed wire museum in Lacross, Rush County. Then for the biggie.........drop down and go through Greensburg where ther tornado hit.

The pueblo ruins are in a very cool canyon that is worth seeing however the ruins are a bit disappointing. As a matter of fact they are reconstructed.

I'd be up for something if it's SM friendly and not alot of dirt, and they have high speed internet and a coffee machine, and bagels, I love bagels...just kidding, well not about the coffee machine...

hey Clinton, does your SM wheelie good? My DRZ-S is a big lump up front and doesnt like to wheelie unless you use a little rise or really 'coax' it. I saw a wheelie video of a SM and it was rocking good.
