Luc LMK if you guys go back out sometime. Gavin would much rather ride with someone closer to his age instead of his old man. Thanks.

Came across this while riding yesterday Anybody guess where. Hint. It is near a very pleasant town.

I went out for a short ride yesterday and ran into some drama. Near the end of my ride I was coming through DeSoto and turned down what I thought was road. Well it is actually an access road to a substation. So I quickly turn around and as I pass by a house on the access road a guy comes running and yelling at me. He starts telling me this is no longer a public road and I reply I'm sorry I took a wrong turn. I also told him I didn't see any private drive signs or purple paint. Note, I did all of this in a calm voice. Again I told him I was sorry.

This is where it turned an little ugly. He then says, "If you come down here again I will kill you." I then said are you threatening to kill me??? He says, "No, it's a promise, I will kill you if you come down here again."

So I leave quickly and call the police. The police took my information and were going to go have a talk with this gentleman. As I was riding away they were pulling into access road. The police haven't called me back to let me know how it played out.

Want to ride at Perry Lake's ATV riding area? It has become extreme with both Quadtard excesses and erosion. I can lead you around the most challenging parts but none of it is easy or enjoyable anymore. I like it but that is personal.
