10-16-16 flint hill ride

I'm new here, but plan to ride around the flint hills to see some sites, everyone is welcome to come along, I do plan on stops for pictures, hoping for some fall colors. We can meet at the gas station in Cassoday.

Welcome, Marc. As for the correctness of the post, there aren't many rules around here. Rather, suggestions to make your ride post title helpful with the date--which you have done. So nice first post!
There are several riding opportunities this weekend--should be a nice one! Hope some folks show up to join you, but if not, the loneliness of the Flint Hills can be therapeutic!

Thanks Troy, looking forward to it. Have a Freund coming with me, she has not seen the flint hills yet, so I will take her to the normal places, will stop for lots of photos for her. I do like riding alone in the flint hills, very relaxing finding news paths to take.

Started a bit late, 10:45, but had a good time riding around the flint hills from Cassoday to Cottonwood Falls.

Yep that was me, I also have a 2006 v-strom 650, I use it more for street travel, but still like it dirty.
Thanks I will have to see where to go this Sunday, thinking of Geary fishing lake, there is a waterfall I would like to get some pictures of, also saw some two track road up there, that need some exploring.
