I'm looking ahead and trying to plan a ride at the Spillway here. Planning a ride can be difficult due to all of our schedules, but lets try and make it happen. If you've never ridden here you're missing out on the best place to ride in KS. JUST KIDDING! It's small but it's kept up pretty decent. It's a nice place to work on yours and your child's skills.
There's a nice paved parking lot, BBQ grill and picnic tables. I can talk my wonderful wife into grilling.
What Saturday works for you guys?
It would be nice if we could pick 2 Saturday's back to back, so if the first one is a washout we could most likely ride the second weekend.
10/22, with 10/29 being the back up? Or 10/29 with 11/5 as back up?
10/22/16 ?
Post up and I'll try to round up some others. Thanks!

Re: Ride Manhattan Spillway?
A great idea, Quinton!
Unfortunately, my October filled up months ago, and so far the weather is cooperating. This month is jam-packed with events--including ride opportunities like Rally @ The Rock.
Nov 5 or 6 could work for me as it stands right now. I think Luc was hoping to host another family ride day at his place, too. Maybe we could get in a 2 for 1 on back-to-back days?

Re: Ride Manhattan Spillway?
I understand. There are some awesome quilting and craft fairs in October so riding needs to go to the back burner.
If anyone has any interest on any weekend post up. 11/5 is an option as well.

Re: Ride Manhattan Spillway?
Only have been in Kansas about a year. Just picked a xr250 and love getting out on the trails. Since new to the area, don't know many folks. I would be in for a good day of riding with some new people. So you guys know of any other meet up groups in the KC general area?
Re: Ride Manhattan Spillway?
Glad you found us, Jeff! How did you hear about RideForum.NET?
I'm not aware of any other off-road motorcycle groups in the area other than the Forward Motion Hare Scramble racers. There probably are--I just don't know about them. I often run into guys who ride off-road who have never heard of RideForum, but have their regular group of riding buddies and run down to Chadwick, Arkansas, etc.

10/22 could potentially work for us, 10/29 we are out of town. We are local so we are more flexible than most, so do not worry too much about us if we are in town we'll definitely try to make it there.

Re: Ride Manhattan Spillway?
I am just trying to throw out an idea to get more of us together for a fun ride, BS, and BBQ. I ride the spillway a lot so it doesn't matter to me if we don't go there or not.
Looking at the Hare Scramble schedule I see they are racing at Carbondale on 11/6/16. I would think the place would be trimmed up pretty decent by 10/29/16. Would any of you easterly guys/families be willing and available to go ride there?
