Since I was too sick to ride down to the NWA and hang out with some of rideforum & ride back...
I am going to ride a little tomorrow 11-4.
Gravel from Powell Gardens to Orrick. If you just got a big bike, or have never ridden gravel (or much) this is your ride. Easy stuff, no mud, no min maint, no creeks, just gravel and some easy two track. Just riding and sight seeing. Shoot me a PM.

I think I'm going to do the same thing. Get the ole KLR out for a DS ride and clear my head.

Clear the head, for sure! I can't seem to ditch this cold.
Change from above, meet at orrick, the other end, at 11@ the gas station on 210. Better roads. Meeting at least one up guy up there.

It was epic. Epic disaster. Will post pics when I can. Thanks for going Matt. Hopefully I haven't ruined you on ice, mud or nails. But anyone that has ridden drz to Colorado and back twice can't be shy about hard rides. Thanks for going, sorry about the flat and all the nails, the melted clutch, over heating, washing the gas out of my eyes, ... That was some mud. Too bad my bike fell off the trailer, I don't think it was done, or just wanted away from me by then.
Well at least we both got home Intact.

At least no injuries, correct?

Nope no injuries except to my ego & checkbook. Ordered the parts and will be out of circulation for a month. I guess its a good excuse to do that valve clearance check I have been putting off for 18000 miles (suppose to do it every 7500).
Ozarkrider might have been truthful when he sold his bmw, I might be a tad less. "never been off road, clean bike with only a few scratches. Needs another nice elderly pavement rider as next owner...yada yada...."
