Trail ride at the Bird farm Saturday Nov.7
For those who couldn't make it or want to ride again we will have another Bird Farm trail ride. Just got back from a ride around on them and the woods are fantastic this time of year.
If you haven't been here before: This is a family event so feel free to bring the whole family even if they don't all ride. Most of the trails are 4-wheeler/utv friendly if you want to enjoy them that way. The trails are all right here at the farm so you are never far from your car. Our trails are all mowed and clear of brush so you should be able to go for a walk and not get ticks and etc. Our trails are mostly in the woods along the creek varying from 4-wheeler to handlebar width. The places that are handlebar width are right on edge of the creek bank threading thru trees, although for those places I have made "easy" go arounds and I have those "easy go rounds" sign posted. Several different people have successfully ridden our trails on 650 -1200 cc bikes. On the larger bikes it will test your skills and wear you out more quickly......but the fun factor goes up if you ride a smaller bike. We have 4-5 miles of trials with no rocks.

In case of rain/mud I will post up a cancel the day before.

Lunch plans or lack thereof to be announced soon.
We will have ride waivers to sign
Link to ride earlier this year

AWESOME! and THANK YOU!

Remember folks, there is also the Chadwick opportunity, too.

I had been keeping Chadwick as an option if my work slowed down a bit. Easier on my schedule to make a 1/2 day trip to the Birdman trails!

However, my nephew's Eagle Court of Honor is this same Sat at 2pm. Being in the middle of the afternoon makes it hard for me to get down for riding and get back home in time. So not sure I'm going to be able to ride this Sat.

We only had .4 inches of rain today with no more in the forecast. I think the trails will be just fine ,ready to ride by sat.
I will stop by the country store and pick up some meat , cheese and homemade bread for lunch.

If there are any of you who want to come and cant make it on sat. but can make it sunday that will be fine we will be here. Just let us know what day you want to ride.

Folks, I'm personally not going to be able to make this ride, but if you are looking for a VERY fun place to ride your dirt bike or dualsport, work on your bike skills, take the kids to ride, and generally hang out with great people, don't miss this opportunity.

Larry's farm is a 1.4 hour easy drive S of the KC metro.

:D

Hey Larry - if no one tags along on my route around Pomona I might redo it and wind up here(?) say around lunch or so? No need for food for me, I always bring my own riding. I will only stick around for a bit (read - until the 990 about kills me in there) and split anyways. If you move it sunday or cancel just wave me off, thats fine.

I am interested in doing your ride. Where are you located and what time does it start?
If anyone is in the Parkville area I have an extra spot on my trailer.

Did a test ride this afternoon ....only one tree on the trail....got it off easily, well sorta. The soil is just right for riding. Should be a good day to ride.
Call 7854892411 for directions on getting here. I will be ready to ride by 9 am ..... but be here whenever you like.
We will meet in the yard across the drive east of the windmill. Plenty of room to park on the grass.

sent you PM Jeepy
