I have 9 days off, could be for riding

I have 9 days off starting this Saturday September 12th.
I would like to spend some of that time on a motorcycle.
I may ride alone some but .....?
I could be open to any suggestions if someone(s) wants to get out in that time frame.
I can do an hour or a couple days.
Real off road not likely as the KTM is not quite ready. but anything the DR650 is up to I suppose I am.
Feel free to post or PM.
Carl

Darn it, Carl. I'm heads-down in multiple projects with deadlines looming...so I'm not going to make it out much for a few weeks. I do plan to make it down to Eddie's ranch Sat, Sep 26:

Carl
I have a 100 mile route in the Garnett area I would be glad to take you on one day next week. Monday or Thursday wont work but I think the other days would. Troy or Dave H can tell you what it is like. Lunch stop is a home town café in Greeley. Others are welcome to join also.

Perfect, let's do it!
Tuesday?
If anyone else wants to go and that day doesn't work I am flexable.

They serve breakfast if you want to arrive early to eat.
The ride: 100 -110 miles long with very little pavement. At least 2 creek crossing/fords and several low water bridges. 2 register of national historic places , Jesse James house, 3 small country towns and lunch in a home town café. There are also several senic vistas to enjoy.
And this

That's right, Carl. If you ride with Birdman, you'll be hanging out with potheads like the one in this picture. (The pothead is on the right.)

Oops, now that I have seen "Pothead" in person I realize there is an actual pot on top of that thing. I didn't see it first time in picture.

Thanks Larry for the ride.
Had a great time.
Nice meeting the wife too, she seems awfully nice.
Butt was pretty tired by Olathe and it didn't get better till off the bike.
Hit heavy traffic on the downtown loop but I guess that was expected.
Living so close to work I usually have little need to be on the loop at any rush hour thank goodness.
Shower was well appreciated though!
