Morning Ride July 3, Parkville to Atchison via River Road

Plan to ride the River Road from Parkville, MO area up to Atchison, KS and then work back down the KS side and eventually back to Parkville. Hoping for no more rain as the River Road can be quite muddy. Looking to leave around 7ish.

Indeed! Some of that route is not very doable wet. A few years ago, a couple buddies and I attempted it muddy. Yikes! Took us several hours to get through and lots of cleaning wheels out. When we got to Atchison, we pulled into a carwash and sprayed the bikes off as well as our pants and boots. What a mess! ....and we still had grins on our faces.

i plan on riding, but will be heading the other direction. I live north of Atchison and will be making a short run south.
