Colorado Cma Fast Lane rally
Re: Colorado Cma Fast Lane rally
Thanks for posting about this.
I found the CMA's web page that talks about these events all over the country--including Colorado, but unfortunately, it really does not give any details about what kind of riding to expect--or much of any details actually. It does say roads and trails, but do you bring a 1200 GS? A KTM 450 plated dirt bike? KLR? All of the above with different groups doing different routes to suit all bikes?

Re: Colorado Cma Fast Lane rally
I am no expert on free for all rallys, having attended a RMAR version of this only once - it was a "find someone that rides what you do" rally where you roam around 8-9am until you find a group that works for you. Looking at the size of the Comm center there should be a good turn out or CMA would not have rented that. There will be others on adv bikes.
Having ridden with CMA before I suspect half to most of the crowd is Harleys. Because of that, you might consider RMAR in July which has 50/50 big small adv bike crowd. I'd be going then to the dino area (Meeker) but got other plans.
I don't know if you have ridden there before TClimber, but if not & you don't have a offroad gps, really consider a Montana GPS or at least this detailed Colorado Map
I will count my vacation days and probably don't have enough, but I do have a dual trailer, gps, tent, and love the area!
