My wife and I get into it enough on ktm bolt-on bs without adding kawi stuff to then mix!
I think I am supposed too wait until both kids graduate from college before getting a second bike. Or in her opinion, the first bike even.
See you down there Rick.
Savage, sure you don't want to go? Free camping on me.

If we don't get too much rain, myself and the family plan to go to School Creek this Saturday. Take the kids around and show them the place, then they would like to chill out with mom and fish, ie. probably throw rocks in the lake. Then maybe they will ride more later.
Anyone else wanna ride?

Savage, if you don't mind leading a newbie around I'd be interested in showing up. I'd be trailering from KC.

Sure! As long as you're not riding a POS KLR. Just kidding. I have a KLR but I'm not taking it there.
Whacha ridin'? Could you PM me your # and I'll text you to let you know how the weather is looking and if we plan to go or not? Thanks

You might look for a nice used KLX250 or CRF250L. Great bikes!

I'm still on the mend. Both muscle groups below the deltoid were torn entirely in half. The surgeon said that it was impossible that I was out three days before surgery screaming down rocky hills and crashing (too light on the initial stroke on my fork set up and too powerful a front brake put me over the handlebars -- my fault). "When you are in extremis you don't think about pain, doc." I said as they wheeled me into the OR. "You dirt bikers are all crazy." he rejoined. I agree.
When I can get out and ride I will be with you!

What surgery did you have? Rotator cuff repair?
My plan for Saturday was to take the family riding and fishing at Milford. My daughter got strep so that changed the plans. I think I jinxed it when I got their bikes out, adjusted the chains, aired up the tires, checked the oil, loaded our bikes up on the trailer, got out the poles, tackle boxes, chairs, and loaded up our gear on Friday night.
My son and I got in a little riding yesterday, found a box turtle at the trails, and I ended up doing quite a bit of bike maintenance and work around the house.

When it's this wet, the only place to ride is Chadwick, Mo. You can ride the majority of it even when it's raining. It's a 3 hour drive, but challenging and fun.
Anything in the KC vicinity will be a mud pit.

I'm hoping to get the pig out for a ride tomorrow, but it depends on the weather.

Knee is feeling much much better. Thanks for asking. I'd love to hit Carbondale one of these days. I'll have to see when I can break free.

You live there. You ride a lot. You've NEVER ridden at Randolph?!
You can have a lot of fun there on a motorcycle. Although it's designed for big 4WDs, I think it's more fun than Perry Lake on a motorcycle.

Randolph rocks, no pun intended. Find this hill called "back flip" in the south valley and give it a try, video does no justice

Savage - I'd join you, but am too busy hacking Troy's websites... Err I mean am polishing the siding on my house
Honestly though, next Friday is going to be my sons first birthday and I've got all of my inlaws coming to town next week from up north, which means my wife has given me a 5 page honey-do NOW list.
Any other time though and am in, was out to Perry Monday last week, finally saw all of it, but there where times I wish maybe I hadn't. Was greasy back in the woods, along with the roots, made for some challenging riding, specially chasing someone's easy ride 500 KTM with the cheater clutch setup. Oops, did I just say that?
Post up some pictures and let us know how it went..

I've been there a few times but never knew where to go, so I didn't stray off too far. But never on a MC. I guess I like cutting around in the tighter trails more so that wide open, so I have never went there.
Hope we don't get anymore rain tonight.
