Update

Our plans are finalized!!! We are meeting Saturday morning, June 28, at 9:00AM in the Wal-mart parking lot in Ozark, MO, on the southeast corner of Hwy 65 and Hwy 14 East. Our plan is to ride East across Southern MO, possibly incorporating some of the trans Missouri Trail and create some of our own TMOT.

We will ride some in the Bunker Mo area. If anybody has tracks for this area that they would like to share it would be greatly appreciated!

At this point it appears that Randy, James, Andy and Chris will be riding. Bronco Steve and Kendall have served up a couple of lame excuses.....blown seal, showing RV to cash buyer, taking care of cat etc. etc. If anybody wants to join us just show up at 9:00 on the 28th.


James and I are planning a big bike ride in Missouri the weekend of June 28-29. The plan is to leave early Saturday morning.

Ozarkrider, Creekside and Bronco have indicated they are also going. Chris...would you rather meet at my house Saturday morning or somewhere along the route? Andy....will you be in Lees Summit or at the trailer/meth lab in Bennett? Steve....you still good to go?

Our thought is to ride the South part of the swinging bridge track and then ride forest roads in the Salem area. We will be riding our BMW 800GS bikes so nothing too difficult.

Anybody who wants to join us would be welcome. Either respond to this post or PM me if you have any interest.

I am a definite maybe on this trip....

Still a ways out but also I have never been big on ride commitments. Seems like work\life always gets in the way.

Would like to go but it's Laurie's birthday that weekend. Have fun!

Sorry I am out. I just rented a house in Colorado starting the following weekend (6-21) so most likely not riding the weekend before I go riding for a week.

Jim, Sorry you can make it. Watch out for the snow!

The big bike ride has been switched to the weekend of June 27-29....forgot about Father's Day on the June 14....hopefully my kids don't!

Let us know if you are interested.

Funny you should mention that. One year I was headed down there and saw three houses on fire. Stopped at the third to ask the sheriff wtf and he started yelling and told us to leave.

i was totally in until i saw you changed the date. i want to ride this weekend!!!

Yes, because people wouldn't do anything "difficult" on an F800GS!

What time Saturday are you guys planning on getting to the Salem area? I just looked at a map and could possibly ride up that way from NW AR and meet up with you all.

Alissa is out of town this weekend, so I was looking for something to do anyway. Are you guys camping or hotel-ing Saturday night?

I have a wide dual trailer if someone else needs a ride. I also got a ramp and truck bed (66") for a shorter bike, so I can take 2 others, whatever, pm or ?

Blew a fork seal riding the Vee last night so I'm out. Going to ride the XRL on Dell's ride this Sunday instead. Have a great ride and be careful.

Hey Chris!

It's looking like I'm going to most likely miss this ride after all. I've got a potential buyer for our 5th wheel that I have for sale coming down from Iowa on Saturday to take a look at it.

Who would have thought that making 2 complete lifestyle changes in less than a year would cut into motorcycle riding so much?!?!
