Kyle (my brother) & Luc are coming from Manhattan.

Kyle has room for me in his truck/trailer, but they will be rushing to get down there before midnight---if they stop to get me, it could add as much as an hour to their already 7 hour haul. They are willing to pick me up, though.

I plan to head down ASAP after work that Thur, which for me, means hitting the road by 3:30. 5 hour drive, so arrive there around 8:30 to 9:00. I can drive down myself...would enjoy it in my new-to-me 2011 F-150 SuperCrew. 8)

Hanes? Motomann? You guys will LOVE this ride. We can put you on an air mattress in the very nice cabin Joe rented.
Sorry you can't make it Hanes. Motomann & I will be hauling down early Thur morning. Woohoo!

My son and I are now in for the WUDI. If the Jayhawks had won a few more games, I was going to spend the WUDI weekend in Dallas with some old college, non riding, friends watching the final four. As it is, I would rather be riding single track.

We aren't 100% sure on our plans, but thinking we will haul our camper down on Thursday and stay at the WUDI site. I would offer a ride for anybody that needs it except that between a camper and motorcycles we are pretty full. We aren't signed up for the Friday dinner because my son doesn't want the dinner to potentially cut into riding time....am I ever going to be tired by the end of this trip.

Regarding trucks, gas mileage and speed, my 13 year old, 250,000 mile Ford F150 has everybody beat in cost per mile. It just keeps going and all I ever do is change oil.

Looking forward to seeing everybody down there! (kendall, you guys staying at the WUDI campground? Hopefully we will get another lifetime supply of garbage bags)

Yup- we should be there sometime around mid-morning to lunchtime on Thursday. I think I'm going to keep my box of trash bags from last year in the cab of my truck so I can show them as I enter the campground that I already have plenty and don't need any more!

They gave our group some too even though we were staying at Mulberry Mountain!

Great folks there.

I hope to meet all you KC/Kansas area folks. I'll be riding the DS on my KTM 690. I just need to remember that magic phrase: "Why yes, I know Troy Wolf!"

For those that don't know, there's a story behind that. Rest assured, Mr. Hix, I am a relative nobody at WUDI. 8)

motomann & I hope to arrive before 1pm. xr-nut & crew plan to arrive before noon or so. All of us are staying at a cabin just off hwy 23 just 1/2 mile S of the intersection with 16. We figure to get a good ride in Thur afternoon in the Mill Creek trail system. From our cabin, we can ride 100% trail all the way into the system and to the WUDI campground. I imagine we'll start off by riding over to the campground to see who is hanging around. We'll look for you in case it works out for you to join us for a few loops. I'll be easy to spot because I'll be the guy on an orange KTM. DOH!

I see. You think you are too good to slum it in the campground with us poor folk. I might be up for a ride late Thursday afternoon depending on how my day plays out. I will most likely have to run to Fayetteville to pick Alissa up in the afternoon, so that could be a determining factor. Even if I don't ride, we will definitely be there hanging out, so we'll see you at some point.

Just look for our rig in the RV area:

Wow, Kendall, once you "got off the grid", you really went off the deep end, eh? 8) For some reason I pictured your rig looking a little nicer & newer and less whack-jobish.

I had never seen the link between UFO's and Godliness before. I think that was my favorite part. Well, you know what they say, "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.". That guy's got it figured out!

No way man! We left that lifestyle behind. You can't really live a real life with all that shiny stuff holding you down.

I love the rope to help hold the silencer up! Doesn't look like a stock AJS engine though???

My mom loved all her AJSs as well as Matchlesss (?).

Looking forward to meeting all that show up weather looks good. I'm assuming it will be a tad muddy.

We were planning on overnighting in Fayetteville tonight, but when we got that close we decided to come on out here a night early.

We pulled into the campground a little over an hour ago, and it looks like your assumption might be correct. It appears that they got a good amount of rain in the last few days and I think there is a good chance tonight and tomorrow for more.

I just got done setting our camp up and I've already made friends with some local wildlife- some sort of black and speckled snake was slithering under my truck as I was getting something out of the bed. Tent campers beware!

We're in the very farthest north spot if anyone wants to stop by and say hello. Ford F-350 dually and Fuzion 5th wheel toyhauler. See you guys later!

Bike tires changed and work schedule cleared. I will be trailering down tomorrow afternoon. I have room for a couple of more bikes if anybody wants. Planning a pit stop at Freedom to buy a helmet or I will be suffocating all weekend in my road helmet. Looking forward to riding. I will be tenting or at least that was the plan--I hate snakes

First time riding in the White Rock area? Oh boy are you in for a treat! You will be addicted. As for mud, yes, expect it to be muddy, BUT, completely rideable. There is about 1 inch of dirt on top of solid rock. We've put on rides down there in the middle of 10 days straight of rain and the only issues were deep creek crossings.

Thanks for the location--we'll look for you Fri morning. We plan to ride tomorrow starting about 1PM, but don't know if we'll stop by the campground tomorrow.

Based on your signature, I assume you'll be on a 2006 KTM 525. It might be hard to connect, but we'll try. I'll be on my 2007 KTM 450 with a white helmet and this bag sans the smaller top pouch on my bike:
