Testing the trail camera on the trail
The dirt on the trails is just right , this eve it felt like the bike was stuck to the earth, of course new knobby's didn't hurt.

That is a
foul sense of humor you have!
It's looking like another good crowd to ride with! Jasoomian, Dan, and I are coming. Rumor is that Robert and his little guy, Griffin on the 50, plan to come about noon.
I picked up the 99 KLX 300 tonight. It's been wrung out pretty good--kind of a turd, but I bet she'll still put a smile on your face riding the trails. Tomorrow night will have me in the garage wrenching on bikes. I've had one of the busiest weeks in a long time and still need to rebuild the carb on the 300. Regardless, I'll be on the trails Sat.

It is looking like the 2 neightbor boys are planning to come. There are 3 others that I have talked to on the phone that may possibly make it also.
Dena has talked about making a pot of cheddar chowder. I will try to keep her happy so that happens.
That is a foul sense of humor you have.......or would that be a FOWL sense of humor.
Yeh and the trail cam caught me with ATGATT too.

Cheddar chowder? I think we're in too.

My very good friend, Myron Smith, and his 11 year old son, Jadon are coming up from Wichita to taste the bird trails!
I welcome the cheddar chowder! BUT...I don't want Dena feeling like she has to provide enough lunch for everyone. The Subway in Garnett opens at 7am, so I'll grab a sandwich for my cooler on my way to the farm. If anyone wants me to pick up a sandwich, reply with your order before 8 AM Sat morning.
Let's recap: Troy, Dan, jasoomian, Myron, son Jadon, Robert, son Griffin, Luc, Luc's son, Quinton (Savage), Kyle, Rick, Kim, Larry's 2 neighbor boys, and of course Larry & Dena. So at least 17 people! This is another regular hoot-n-nanny!

Plus my friend Fred and very likely Flatland Mike. That would put us up to 19 .....which I think is close to the same as last week.
Dena is going to town this afternoon and while she is there is going to pick up enough ingredients to make a big pot of cheddar chowder. There will be enough so everyone can have a bowl full. She volunteered to do this , she sayes it is easy and everyone needs soup with their sandwich.....and it is so tasty. She wants to feed me anyway

Just did the offical taste test on the first pot of soup. In my opinion it's quite delicious. If you like hearty cheesy soup with veggies in it, this is the good stuff. I'm in for soup

Soup sounds great. I'm only 30 miles away but I don't think I can make it. I'm sure that upsets no one being how I showed up everyone last weekend on my 600+ pig.
Have fun and ride kinda safe tomorrow.

It was a fun day for me. Besides the fun-filled day of trail riding, it was nice to cruise down with Luc and Kyle and have some good conversations. Thanks guys!
Thank you Larry and Dena for the thoughtful invitation for us to come explore your trails. They have a nice variety that kept us all entertained.
Here's a video I put together from the day. I had a good time following the little strokes around listening to them ring-a ding-ding.

Thanks everyone for working my trails in. It does actually help (think trail maintance) to have riders on them to keep them in shape. Luc and Savage ,I liked the pics and video
For those intrested I checked the trail cam today and the deer were back "riding" the trails again at the same time this morning as yesterday. You would have thought with all the cycles in the woods they would have left for a long time, but not so. I guess it is their home and they are staying.
