Andy,
Phil & I might bring our tents, too. Lows look to be mid 40's--nice tent weather.
Kendall,
Bring your tent? If you want to haul with me--and I hope you do, try to let me know by tonight. I don't think you live too far from my office in Lenexa. I can probably make it easy for you and just come get you Thur after work--probably around 3:30 at your place. Or you can meet me at my office. Let me know what you want to do.

WHOA! A porno movie just arrived in my inbox. Dude...when you said "pm", I thought you meant a private message. Not appropriate, dude! Not appropriate!

I just didn't want to put my address on the board since everyone lusts after my bikes! No sense in giving them directions to where they can steal them from me.

What time should we pick you u--- er, I mean kidnap you?
Have you ever asked someone what they want to do on a free weekend and they answer "I've really been wanting to spend the whole weekend with my in-laws"? I doubt that has ever happened in the history of mankind.

Looks like we might get a little rain, but temps look great. No worries about the rain--the ground is so rocky out there the rain won't cause mud issues. In fact, it will be nice not to eat dust.
Kendall & I are heading out from the West side of the metro about 4pm.
We'll have tents with us as options, but with the certainty of rain, if Link has a cabin open, I'll do that. Andy, you'd be welcome to join us. He has 2 small cabins and one large. One small cabin has a full bed and bunk beds (sleeps 3). The other small cabin has 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4). The big cabin is packed with bunks to sleep 10. $10 to camp. Expect to pay $20 to stay in cabin.
Gonna be GREAT to get out on the bike in the forest!

This day can't go by fast enough! I'm ready to get going.
I sure hope we can get a dry place to sleep, but I'm not too worried about it. As long as we don't have to actually set our tents up in the rain, we should be good. Looking at the hourly forecast on weather.com, it looks like the chance for rain really starts at 10pm, so we might be cutting it close.

And....a 10 minute "movie" can be
viewed on YouTube in full 1080P HD glory.
I messed up the title sequence--first time using new movie making software and I was tired with limited time...so suck it.

Enjoyed your pictures, almost like being there! The old mill is cool, my family has some farmland which had a mill on it in the 1850's. It may have looked like the one in your pictures.

I thought that was you that we saw up north of Leavenworth! It was a nice day to get out, but with all the rain we've had lately, having my wife on the back, and still needing better dirt-worthy tires, we just kept it on pavement all day.
