Sorry, Kendall, but it was unanimously decided to shut down RideForum and all group rides. Yesterday was the last one. Ever. Too bad you missed it.
:( Well, I've already got Alissa's KLX for sale, so I guess after hearing this latest update I might as well sell my other two dirtbikes as well.

I guess I'll have to get back to my main hobby of basket weaving.

I'll take the 350. Pick it up Saturday?

Rick

I finally finished editing all the video. It took me longer than normal because I wanted to try and get most of you guys in there that the video and pics picked up. Sorry for all the lime green instead of pumpkin orange but I didn't ride a pumpkin, so that's what we're stuck with. I gave you guys orange font though! :)
Check'r out in HD and LMK what you think.
Thanks again for the fun day fella's!

Darn need to sign on the computer at home more often....

Two of us rode Wabaunsee Co. from Manhattan to Willard and back home. Hadn't been on the Husky for over a month. Not many challenges on the low maintenance roads when it's so dry.

Troy keep us posted on trail maintenance plans for School creek, sounds like a good chance to pay it back. Clearing a trail is like an appetizer for the actual riding!

Savage, GREAT video! Thanks for putting that together and sharing. I know it's a lot of work.

Mac, I was wondering what happened to you! Glad to know you are still alive! 8)

What a generous offer! This is what I love about rideforum- a guy posts about having a problem and a solution just appears out of nowhere!

I'm still kickin, just have a job now that limits my kickin time!

I have decided the TE450 is not fitting my riding preference. Incredible bike is the rough stuff - best bike I have owned. I pain in the ars - literally, if you spend extensive time crusing down dirt roads. After a two-day, 450 mile dirt road ride, the Husky just isn't suited for cruising 60 mph for hours. I think the close ratio trans is the down-side. When I gear it up for 60 mph cruising, 1st gear is really too high.
I am looking to trade back to a multipurpose DRZ400 or WR250....better all around bike. Anyone with a DRZ400 or WR250 looking to move up into a aggressive DS bike....send me a PM. What I have is a 2007 Husqvarna TE450, set up and ready to go...I would be looking for something around the same age and well-equipped.

That 2nd one looks like an E model.
If I were looking I'd be real interested in a DRZ now that there is finally a good tranny ratio made for them.
