I'm going to Holt for the lunch deal, then ride Troy's Plattsburg route, should be around ninety miles of gravel. If anyone wants to join me I'll probably leave Holt around 1pm. Dean

Guys, I won't be out riding this weekend (UNFORTUNATELY), but rumor is there is a trials even up in Excelsior Springs this Sunday. That would make a really fun dualsport ride, enjoy watching the trials, then ride home. Starts about 11AM, admission is free. Location details are on this website.

I would like to ride that route as I missed it the first time around. How can we meet up? I can't be on my bike in Liberty until 1:00. Is that too late for you?

Did you want to meet at my place or will something else work? Or are you referring to the Holt lunch and ride?

Oh, sorry, I didn't see your 1:00 PM time in Holt, darn I wish I knew the route. No GPS here.

Been there and done that a hundred times, but you all would enjoy it! It will make you want to get a Trials bike!
I have had several and really do love them, just not much place or time for me to ride (practice) or compete anymore.

Hi Carl, I missed it when the group did it, my bike was all apart. I rode it solo a while back as my first self guided gps ride. I didn't start until almost 5pm and just barely made it home by dark.
Is 30 to 40 minutes enough for you to get from Liberty to Holt? If you want to ride it we will wait for you. Dean

By the way, what muffler are you running? Sounded and looked real good.

Its a Jardine, slip on, pretty easy to install. I actually order a silencer for it because the sounds gets fairly annoying while traveling at highway speeds.

I'm glad you guys had fun, I had heard stories about Overlander, stuff like passing guys doing a wheelie while hauling a passenger.
I had a blast, I feel kind of bad about his headlight and sorry about the roost Carl.
With watching where I was going and the gps I didn't get to look in my mirrors very much. Even with fresh packing in my Big Gun I still can't hear another bike unless they get right up beside me.
You could tell the township guys have been working with the fresh gravel in spots. I was really impressed with how flashstromer got around, he says it's his first bike.
As much fun as I had I would prefer someone else lead next time or maybe a little smaller group. Big Thanks to Rusty for setting the rules and keeping everybody together. Dean
