June 30 - Ride Somewhere

I'm going to ride somewhere Saturday, nothing epic. Probably close to Weston, small bike, early as I can get around to stay out of the heat.

Anyone else not riding the Flint Hills Stampede that wants to go?

I'd be up for it, but we are headed out for vacation that day, so we won't be able to make it. Hopefully, this heat wave will settle down while we are out of town and we can do some local riding in a couple of weekends when we are back.

Have fun if you end up going though.

Go to the Stampede. There is always room even at the last minute.

I'm out of town until late Saturday night otherwise I would join you. With the heat surely there will be cancellations at the Stampede.

Yep, I thought about the Stampede but the site says the registration cut off was 6/15. The real deterrent is the dust at the end of a string of 10 or so bikes. I don't think it's been raining much over there.

The tag sounds fun, maybe I will.

Kendall and Allkid have fun on your trips.

Take your big bike, leave early, and follow the two lane route I posted on the way out. You can slab it back if you want too and be home before it gets too hot!
