I'm back in KC. Until today the weather was less then ideal however, it was a good, trip.
I had some cold morning but it warmed to at least 40 each day but Friday (never over 30).
There was much more snow east of us making for some interesting riding.
Anyone that has ridden with me know I like history and search it out while riding. Here is grave of Toussaint Charbonneau, husband of Sacagawea, the guide on the Lewis and Clark expedition; their child Jean Baptiste was a graduate of Saint Louis University.
Normal frosty morning.
The snow was OK. The packed snow and ice was tough. If I gave my bike much gas the back end would slide out and don't consider using the front break.
My tracks.
Snow like that and I would have a little attractions however any any moment it can be ice so slow and steady was the way I got through it.
The ride was to see bald eagles. As mentioned the eagles are not as plentiful as in the past however I did see a few and got some pictures.
Maybe a few of you can grow a pair and join me next year.
