It's time for the first Head 2 Holt ride of 2007! Check http://www.head2holt.com/ for more info.

Some folks are meeting at MotorcycleCloseouts at 10:30 to Head 2 Holt as a group. As it will be a mixed group, I plan to stick to pavement on the way there.

There was a few of us that came late. 3 KLR's and 1 V-Strom. Had a lot of fun riding some of the roads around Holt and whereever else Carl led us to.

Glad you guys made the ride. I was home nursing my badly sprained ankle.

I believe the first of the 2007 Holt Hill Climbs is Sunday, April 1st. (No this is not an April Fool's joke.)

Last year, I especially enjoyed watching a crotch-rocket actually attempt and MAKE the hill climb. He did have a knobby on back. 8)

TP, was it John and Greg that went with us, from the Kansas side? I think it was John that over shot the 2nd or 3rd turn south of Rayville on C on his blue KLR. We went back to find him in the ditch! Tore the left ACL tendon in his knee I think. No blood though, yeah!

John? Is that the right name? If your on here I hope your OK, well even if your not! How was the ride home?

You won't catch me even attempting that Troy, I would have two badly sprained, if not broken ankles.

Anyway, Carl, my recollection of names is way worse than yours, so I would have no clue who they were. I do hope they made it back to the sunflower state without having to call in somebody to haul them home. We'll have to try and make it up for the lunch crowd one of these Sunday's. See if we can get the whole Liberty contingent to ride up with us.

Guess I missed you guys by a bit, maybe next time. It was twenty miles over there and fifty getting home. :D

I hear ya. We had a full day by leaving at 2:00. So, eating a cheaper lunch, at home, would be OK with me also. Hopefully we can get all the Liberty Dual Sport Gang to come along next time.

Don't get me wrong, I like to eat! A couple of beers will work too, ahhh, yeah, after the ride, right?

Am I understanding you correctly Carl, are you going to grill steaks and serve beer at your place after the next ride?

That can be arranged!
