Saturday Oct 2 ride

I was planning to take the Vstrom out for a 2 day adventure this Sat & Sun, but then my brother posted this:

So I'll take the KTM 450 EXC out to Milford Lake on Sunday.

So where to ride Saturday? I don't know where yet, but I'll point the Vstrom 650 in a general direction and ride until I feel it's time to head back towards Kansas City. As soon as I leave the concrete jungle and find a gravel road, I'll try to stay on gravel for the rest of the day.

There are at least a dozen small towns in Kansas having Fall Festivals and the like this Saturday. I might make one of them a non-mandatory destination to get something to eat and hang out for an hour or two before riding back home.

Anyone want to tag along? Anyone got suggestions? I might load up some geocaches in the GPS and go find them.

Eric & I had a really good ride today! We did about 160 miles from Overland Park to Pomona, KS on all gravel roads. About 7 miles of it was rugged minimum maintenance roads.
