Oh, I slept well last night.

Leg muscles and knees are a bit sore: not bad enough for Ibuprofin, but enough to tell me that I had a great day. Yes, I took two good tumbles but had fun doing it.

Thanks to all for a great time and wonderful company.

Hayden: You MISSED a great time with good friends.

Sat was a long day and they got alot done. They worked pretty late Fri too. With the nice weather, doesnt seem like they are in too big a rush. I took off about 8:30 am to the tune of 38 degrees on sun. Looks like i should have taken off this whole week. Low 80s by mid week with nothing but sunshine. Dang it.

Hayden.

It was nice meeting some good riders! I will try to compile some video highlights tonight or tomorrow. I think some would agree Stu sets a brisk pace :)

Had a great time, met some new folks. Nothing like a ride in a sea of poison ivy. Maybe we can get a bulk discount of cortisone cream! Stu did a great job, definitely rode the trails less traveled.

Ditto on the sore muscles..... makes me daydream every time I feel the pain. I also had ridden 200 miles of gravel roads on Saturday, so the aches are compounded.

Thanks for all the bike tips, and the look see to tell if my KTM was worthy.

Good to see you again, too, Larry! I also rode Saturday--about 180 miles.

I did not get any poison ivy, but I can provide GPS coords for this place where you can get some poison ivy if you want some:

Good to meet you guys Sunday. Thanks for letting an old Husker riding red follow you around. Stu made mention of a ride at School Creek later in the year. Count me in.

Same to ya, Rick! School Creek is convenient enough for all of us that there is not much excuse not to go more often....besides family obligations of course!

After yanking all of that poison ivy down off the trail I ended up with a light rash. Luck. Another day riding out there is definitely in the works. Mac said that Nov. was good since the quadtards were mostly gone and the leaves were down so you could see better (except perhaps for the trail which is where the leaves end up).
Rick and Mark are very good riders and it was a pleasure adding them both to the group. Mark survived and said he would be willing to come out with me again. (?!? -- Must have been dropped on his head as a baby.)
Let's watch the weather and plan another trip!
Stu
