The weather is getting better and I want to get out and ride. I was thinking of leaving Friday a little after noon and coming back Sunday. The weather looks to be in the 50.

I don't have any set plans for a route. I was thinking Eureka Spring, Arkansas or the Flint Hills of Kansas.

Anyone have interest in joining me?

If you could postpone a few days I'm heading that way soon. Gimme a call or come up for Rusty's movie night tonight.

EDIT, was led to believe I would be off next week, turns out that is not the case. Arkansas will still be there.

I'll make it to Rusty's one of these days. I would out of town last night.

I could not get out on the 12 and 13 but want to go tomorrow. I have a route I want to ride in Southern Linn County and Northern Bourbon County. I was out today doing a little driving on gravel. The roads were not bad. A few soft spots but not much and there will be no dust.

Anyone want to join me?

did you guys already leave? Or are you planning to go next weekend?

Saturday looks bad like it may be a little cold and wet. I don't mind cold and I don't mind wet but I don't like cold and wet.

I may ride only on Sunday. Plans are still up in the air.

Yikes. Looks like a crappy weather weekend, Eddie. 38 and SUNNY with little wind would be enjoyable. 38 and cloudy and any wind or wet would suck. But hey! I've let you drag me into worse!

Saturday does look bad. Going to make a decision tomorrow.

And hopefully that decision was to stay home.

Yea no kidding. I drove home on Sat from Harrison AR. About 20 miles South of Joplin I hit the ice and things started to slow down. Once I got through Joplin I pulled over and locked it into 4 wheel drive. It was 35 mph all the way from Joplin to Wichita on 400 hwy. No lie, it was a hugh mess. I hit 40 to 45 in a couple of places but it was short lived. I even did 15 miles of 25 mph behind a string of cars out by Parsons. I saw 4 cars infront of me put it in the ditch and had one lady (on coming) loose it and threaded her car between a big truck and trailer infront of me and another truck in front of him to put her car in our ditch facing us. Lucky lucky lucky. What a big mess. East of Agusta I finally come to a bunch of cops blocking the rode. We got diverted up to 54 Hwy as 400 was completely closed. Big wreck I assume. We went into El Dorado and things got much better from El Dorado to ICT.

I drove to the country near Fort Scott, KS. We got a few more inches of snow there. I would still be there if I did not have a pickup to get home.
