Re: Safari 2021 News

I was one of the land owners and a dual sport rider. I had three trash barrels out yet riders left wrappers, empty water bottles and partially eaten food all around the barn. Some even crushed water bottles and threw behind implements. I even opened up my cabin so people could check out the place. S...

For you stature that cottage is not sufficient. This would fit your lifestyle better. https://hallhall.com/property-for-sale/ ... 0001vwnfb/ One of the other shack could be a great clubhouse for RideForum.

I would stop by but I didn't have MN guests coming this weekend. They are riding down on a 1200GSA on Friday. If they feel like a day ride on Saturday, we may swing by to say hello.

Pony Express

Yesterday I got home from a 15 day ride, 4471 miles ride. I followed the Pony Express all the way to Sacramento California. I rode in high winds, 100 degree temperature (humid and dry), below freezing temperatures, rain, snow, sand, mud and dust on my way west. In other words, the type of weather th...

Re: 9 day ride on a KLR

There is also some very good riding in Wisconsin and Michigan. The Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail (TWAT) goes from the IL boarder to Lake Superior. At Lake Superior go East into the UP of Michigan. Lots and lots of riding. Check out some of Cannonshot's tracks on ADVrider.com. The TWAT takes about ...

Re: Looking for warm winter ride recommendations

Jim, The Texas Hill County is great but looking for another option consider Big Bend area of Texas. However watch the weather. I hauled bikes last Christmas and only got one day of riding. It was 80 degrees along the Rio when a front came through. By the time we got back to Alpine it was 28 degrees ...

Re: Iceland Adventure?

A friend of mine had gone a few times. She recommended to me not to do Iceland on a motorcycle the first time we visit. The reason, there is so many places you wont want to pass to take pictures, hike and explore that being on a bike and then having to take helmets and jackets on and off and changin...

For RideForum HQ you need to think bigger. For Example, the 100 square mile Mesa Vista Ranch at a bargain price of $250,000,000. https://s3.amazonaws.com/propertybase-clients/00Di0000000f7m6EAA/a0C1Y00001Rfgpx/p1c04rgqfn1idg1bphdtbriugi02g/mesa-vista-024.jpg https://s3.amazonaws.com/propertybase-cli...

Re: Starter Home in the Flint Hills

I have been by that place a number of times. It is a beautiful place. It joins a ranch I have leased in the past to run cattle. IMO the person buying that already has a place in Colorado or Montana, a "cottage" on the coast and has access to private planes. The future owner either already had a larg...
