Re: New Old Bike
I found a local that can rebuild multi Cyl 2 stroke cranks. Has a hot rodded RZ500 in his garage. Even better, he's only 3 miles from my house. If you need 2 stroke cylinders bored or single cyl cranks rebuilt, Larry at Donnell's is old school, he can do it and chamfers the ports etc. I have the eng...

Re: Shipping
let me clarify. the shipper I'm going with was NOT on uship. It's a shipper that a lot of WERA and WRMRRA racers have used.
20% is a bit steep though for what you get. If the company just subs out to someone you can't research, what's the point?

Re: Shipping
Here's what I have found out so far. The majority of auction bidders are larger companies and sub out to who knows who. Uship also skims 20% off the top. If you get someone that responds, do a search and see if they have an online presence somewhere, then contact them outside of UShip, the price wil...

Re: Shipping
I have a bid request on Uship, I'll see how that pans out too but sometimes some local truck drivers will haul small stuff on the side during a trip.

Shipping
Anyone have a line on an affordable shipper from Charlotte to KC? I just picked up a RD400/350 hot rod and need to get it here.
Yes. The 2 stroke bug has definitely hit.

Walter's ranch
Looks and sounds like Walter's ranch is turning into a purely 4 wheel rider area. Sucks.

Re: KTM Rally- Aug. 19-21- Deadwood, SD
I'm ending up leaving today in the truck. I have way too much work going on so i'll be doing conf calls on Thursday from Sioux Falls. yeah, i'm a poser. I probably have room to throw another bike in the back on the way home after everyone realizes how cold and wet they are from the Friday/Saturday r...

I agree, for the money and what is being put on, it's a bargain. The fact that you're feeding people AND hosting, providing tracks etc makes it a value.
As soon as little man gets back in town, i'll see if he's up for it.

I'm serously considering this.
If I bring the little bike and my son on his 125, thoughts on riding opprotunities for the two of us since he's not licensed etc?

No clue if i'm riding or not since i'm not sure how slammed work is going to be at that point.
I can do 800 in a day no problem....but do I want to......in August......

Re: MOVIE: A Story Worth Living
I ended up getting in a bit later than I wanted, so just went home from the airport. Word on the street was that this was "A complete pile of shite" some friends watched it up in Seattle and walked out, basically about half the people there went to the local bar about 20 minutes in. so, even though ...

Re: Birch
Tuesday I fitted brand spanking new suspension front and rear on the 1190R. I'm wanting to find some whoops that I can test it out on now that it won't bottom out. ;) Nothing like installing expensive, new suspension on an already very expensive motorcycle. Reminds me of all the fancy exhaust syste...
