I didn't think they had announced the western starting point.
It appears they have now, Lee's Summit.

Larry - I checked the resolution on Google Earth at your farm, it is very good.
If you send me your gps tracks of the trails, I will do a overlay for you.

Flatland should have a skid plate, pipe guard, radiator guard and high fender kit anytime. Prototypes done.gagnaou wrote:

It is miserably loud on a tug when breaking ice. That picture brought back some memories.ozarksrider wrote:

Re: I did it!
I have Eddie's WR.
I'm screwing ice studs in the tires while I'm typing this.
The ponds should be frozen up enough to make a nice little speedway track.
Come ride Eddie's WR on the ice, don't cost nothing.

Re: I did it!
What kind of new seat did you buy DirtFarmer? A Corbin, I bought it a few years ago. Dean's "Tea Bagged" picture is my bike. Waiting to hear from Eddie today, stopping by on his way home. Tough day to chore the birds, stay warm. Old chubby guys on WR's, a picture comes to mind; http://www.studiolum...

Re: V strom skid plate
I have the SW Motech also. I have pretzeled the bracket twice beyond repair. The V-Strom lacks ground clearance, you lessen it with a skid plate and you lessen it some more with exposed hex heads. Consider Touratech, I wish I had. http://www.touratech-usa.com/media/NvqiNA/01-390-0124-01-lg.jpg?size=...

Re: Tire Changer
Eddie - TKC's sidewalls make them a very easy tire to change. I'll be happy to help you set a tire changer.
I have the No-Mar balancer threaded rod & cones for single sided swing-arm wheels. Time consuming, but works well.

Jim L (who still hangs out out Letco, saw him a couple of weeks ago) would be nice to invite to dinner. I've shared a couple of campfires with him, but have not hooked up with him for a few years. Listening to someone who is as passionate and enjoys riding as much as Jim makes for an enjoyable eveni...
