Dirtbiking on a Monday? Are you kidding me? You couldn't PAY me to leave my desk. Man do I feel sorry for you guys. Why dirtbike when you can sit indoors and work like me! There's so many more fun things you could be doing.

Re: YouTube Finds

Hmm looks like what I want. Nice. http://tinyurl.com/y9uuvgt The Lees Summit trails are behind 470. You can get to them at view high. That should bring up a birds eye view. The dark brown lines are trails.. I wouldn't recommend off roading in Lees Summit. It's not a "sanctioned" riding area. It's a ...

Re: New ride destinations?

Any links or reviews? Are there any major legalities involved, ie. is it a class A felony to be in/near one?

Re: Winter Ride to view Bald Eagles

Thanks, Dave, for the recap, the memory, and sharing with everyone. Thanks a lot. Eddie, I'd love to join you on this trip. Bald Eagles are delicious! And now that they are off the endangered species list, I don't have to sneak around as much. http://www.cnn.com/2007/TECH/science/06/28/bald....

Curado -- call in well. "I'm well and cannot come in to work. Have to clean the puke off my bike." (More on the latter is SURE to come!) Stu If my bike wasn't already red, it would be stained with the blood of my enemies, perhaps puke also. Fortunately today I had the day off, a rare occasion indee...

Re: YouTube Finds

These are a couple videos from when I first got into riding. I got invited down to Chadwick to ride with Quads. I didn't know what a quad was :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOkzdUOHf6Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-aFxL3CzeQ The other trails are in Lees Summit, back in the woods behind the fre...

Stu I know where you can trade that in if you ever want to get a reputable dirtbike. City scrap might give you 10 bucks for the aluminum!

Re: Bored & Snowbound

I've refined an algorithm for changing my oil. After some refactoring with better use of interfaces and loose coupling, I was able to make it work for the general case of bike maintenance. Other procedures such as adjusting my chain are easily accommodated with this new system of my own streamlined ...

Wow check out this lotus motor!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fIG9pWldO8U I don't know what to think. It looks ingenious but I see LOTS of potential problems! Namely the exhaust port and how this would work with an actual catback on it. Better fuel efficiency, but not only that, better power, I guess. If they can make this in a v...

Neat harley but who would want a dirtbike that breaks down every ride?

I know of a few nighthawk owners. I never hear any complaints. Seems the bike has a healthy following. Looks like a safe choice for a cruiser, and for resale.

I might change my oil. I'm not going to overexert myself. Anyone who is up for some fun can come over and change the heater core in my grand prix. I still haven't done it.
