I just heard that Mike Stanfield, owner of Freedom Cycles and past Dakar Rally participant who has been a speaker at a couple of our TARKC meetings has died. There is no mention of how.

I ended up there this weekend and though I'd post of a few photos from the ride from one of the better roads. I found a little mud, but nothing to clog up my fender! I'll say though if you end up there, watch out as there are no stop signs at the gravel/dirt road intersections. Folks don't look or ...

I had a great time riding with everyone this weekend and meeting some new folks!
