Re: Fall TARkansas ride

I am flexible on the dates in October at this time. As far as the type of ride, I would vote on the adventure travel type again. Those have always been fun having a destination to get to , especially if we have some nice weather for a change!

Re: July TAR-June 29

I thought the pro fireworks were weaker and I believe the budget it for them is not as much as it used to be, but the private stuff has gotten so much better I didn't really care to much. I can't imagine what some of these people must spend on fireworks!

Re: July TAR-June 29

A big thanks to Randy, Linda and Kramer, that was a fun evening!

Troy, Wanda told me on the way home she enjoyed talking with you and asked me why I didn't tell her ahead of time that you were a tech guy.

Re: ajayhawkfan heading east.

We are back. 2250 miles, 10 states and two great days of instruction. We rode through rain, fog, a few snow flakes, and temperatures from 33 degrees (Thank you Troy, your vest was a lifesaver for Ann) to 75. So how was the training and what all did they go over with you? Do you know what the differ...

Re: Vintage moto show Lawrence, KS 2/3/13

If I'm not at work, I'm planning on heading that way on my TU. It may be a bit cool on the way there, but should be a nice ride home. I'll probably be the only one on a TU. http://i1194.photobucket.com/albums/aa372/rycomm/IMG_1566.jpg No airplane tomorrow. Ryan Cool Experimental! Did you build it? ...

Re: Dakar

We met with Dakar team from Freedom multiple times this year. I was really excited to follow their progress but I can't seem to find good race coverage. We all knew this was an ongoing issue but has anyone found a good source (or even just an ok source) for race coverage? Following them on Facebook...

Re: I could not help myself. I'm a weak man.

Wow, that’s cool. I have been toying with the idea of replacing my DRZ with one or the other. My next question was going to be how you decided between the two, having ridden both, but Stu seems to have covered the differences pretty good. Since you were able to find a used one, that would factor int...

Re: October ride

I really had a great time riding with everybody! I had not done any off road riding since last spring so it was really great to get back down to Arkansas again. Even though the weather wasn't good and we had to deal with some problems it was all worth it. Thanks again to Troy for all the wonderful a...

Police Motorcycle Challenge

My wife and I are volunteering for this event Saturday September 15th. Looks like they could use some more volunteers. The following is from the contact person: We need volunteers for judges (watching for cone strikes / picking up cones). We could use about 10 or 15 more. I would greatly appreciate ...
