Re: Scott's family could use your help.
Scott has always been willing to give his time to help the TAR group. I don't know if anybody remembers, but Scott brought his son to one of his TAR presentations at Freedom. My impression was that he is a great kid. Thanks for sharing this Eddie. I talked to Scott at Freedom about a week ago and ha...

Re: TAR Fall Ride Oct. 22-25
Is there an address posted someplace? I've looked, but can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm sure it's in big bold print someplace, and I'm blind. Thanks, Ryan No address but there is a map. http://www.vrbo.com/633857 Just North of Dover, from hwy 7, go West on rushing. Only about a mile but where Ru...

Steve, Riding single track, you on the big heavy XR650 would make it about even for all of us on our lite 2 strokes.

Missouri Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (MOHVA)
As you know, especially in today's political environment, there is a constant fight to keep current trails open. Environmental lobbing groups spend a lot of money in an attempt to close down our few riding areas. I've even seen on these environmental group webpages, photos of their targeted riding a...

Re: TAR Fall Ride Oct. 22-25
Our goal is always to ride as little pavement as possible. For the most part, the only pavement we ride is to get from the motel to the forest. With us staying in the forest on this trip, I would expect riding on pavement to be minimal.
I would go with the tire you most prefer for the trail.

Re: Ride report Colorado 2015
I forgot to mention- I liked your comment about the MTB trails in KC. I've found that I feel mostly the same way. I've ridden MTB in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Texas, and South Dakota and the trails in the KC metro and surrounding areas are really good trails. Maybe its ju...

Re: Ride report Colorado 2015
Looks like I missed a good ride! Maybe I'll be able to join you guys next year- it's starting to look like this might be the second year in a row I don't get to do a summer Colorado trip. :( I thought I read somewhere that you were headed out in September? We visited your guest cottage. Thought I h...

Kramer has mellowed with allowing me to pause long enough to take pics. Now he needs to mellow with the kind of trails he likes riding!bonanzasteve wrote:Great pics and trip report Randy, and to think when I started riding with you, you never took any pictures!

Re: TAR Fall Ride Oct. 22-25
Looks awesome, Randy! It's two weeks after the Rally @ the Rock that I'm helping organize, but I should be able to make it. I'll probably plan on roughing it in my camper, so don't worry about a bed for me. Let me know if you come down earlier for any scouting rides. I'd like to explore around that...

Re: RV Camping Trailers
[/quote] Am curious about the fuel smell in the trailer - If you put a few bikes in, drive for a good chunk of the day - say 90 plus weather. When you get to the destination, do you have the Gas smell? Does it vent out easy? I always thought if one was going to have a toy hauler type trailer, having...
