How about getting a large tank to store the fuel in like I have seen on farms. I don't if this is still legal given the environmental issues this could raise.

A better idea is to put the $2,000.00 on the Bears next week and use the profits to buy fuel 8)

You found the right place! Troy and KC have done a lot of geocaching. I plan to start so there should be a lot of this on some of our Kansas City area rides at the least.

I guess all balls will have the same issues overheating due to to liquid and friction. Also shrinkage secondary to and with cold temps, like a frighten turtle, Jerry

Do you have tire balls???

I just saw this product and was wondering if any of you have tried them or know of any one that has? Seems like it would work and I like the idea of no flats!

Tim made a high-speed jump from his bike during Stage 6. He has dislocated his hip and is being Medivaced to a hospital in the Canary Islands.

This sucks and is a sad day :( I read on Tim's site that this has hit him hard, Elmer helped him out a lot in preping for the race.

The Husky team is out due to injury and a fuel line repair that took too long and cause the other rider to miss the start time.

The difference between the procycle kit and others, like the trick kit, is about $150. Do you think it's worth that much?

Tye[/quote]

Without a doubt! Plus Cyclezone or LetKo will be there for technical assistance if you need it.

If you go with the procycle stuff a few things to keep in mind. Don't use the connectors they supply; solder all of the connections. Remember your KTM will vibrate and those crimp connectors can come lose. Go buy some shrink wrap and some small flexible plastic conduit. The procycle wires aren't wel...

I would call Lee at letko and talk with him about what you want to do. Their number is 913-334-2410. I know of another KTM dealership in Topeka I think it is called cyclezone and I have heard good things about their shop too. Another good resource is the KTMtalk webiste, I'm sure there is someone th...

Hey Tye, I too got a kit from procycle and be aware that it is "generic" conversion kit for all bikes. From a painful and costly experience I would suggest taking your bike to LetKo and have them do the conversion for you. I believe they have factory parts that will hook right up and keep you from s...

Re: 24 Hours, 19 Registered Users, 48 posts!

RideForum.NET has only been online about 24 hours, but I'm very encouraged by the momentum we have going. There are a LOT of BackroadsTouring riders that I know, but do not know how to contact them to tell them about RideForum.NET. If any of you have a way to contact any of these guys (and a ton th...

Flipping quarters, not sure what to do right now. I like the XRR but it was getting too hot and hard to start in AR. I am thinking a fan first and see how that works. I have no trouble starting it if I keep plenty of air flow going through those radiators. I have also got on some kind of Motard kic...
