Re: Husky TE610 questions?
With Husky now being owned by BMW maybe we can get some local support. I have not needed local support since I bought mine at LetKo, when they were a dealer. There are several items that both KTM and Husqvarna share which is nice. For parts it is just a phone call away and it is usually at my door i...

Re: Husky TE610 questions?
I have briefly ridden a 2001 610 off-road in Moab, while bgg used my 2001 LC4-400. We spent 7 days riding back in 2005, and traded off a few times. Hayden swapped, too. (We practice very unsafe motorcycling ...) Very similar in terms of what they can do, and what they weren't designed to do (unless...

Re: Husky TE610 questions?
Just call Hall's and order a JD Jetting Kit and it will wake the bike up! The 610 won't out perform the 450 on the trails, but will be much better on the road. It is the old trade off with a dual sport bike...

Re: Maxxis M6006 dual-sport tires?
Well I'm considering these: http://www.motosportz.com/HVA-SS/Motoz_details.htm They really were pushing the trials tires, but now have gone to the MotoZ tires. The main reason was the sidewall weakness which resulted in punctures. Here is another review off of a Husqvarna forum and the price is $55-...

Thanks Mike I was able to fix the situation with a spade connector I had laying around the garage. I hate electrical issues, but my hands are now warm!

Re: Rode today/looking for bike-for-daugher input
No question about it...a KTM 200. You can pick up a 3-4 year old one for $2500 which is a bargain for such an amzing machine. Plus, you have a great single track machine. The gals that are solid A & B riders are ALWAYS on orange 200's. They are uber light, great wide power and wicked fast. Mo, is t...

I need to find a couple double female terminal connectors for my heated grips. Please don't ask why I need them... Does anyone know where I can find them in the greater KC area? Does Graniger or Fastenal have them???
Thanks, Daryl
Thanks, Daryl

Get her a 250 KTM or Husky and then you can have a back up bike for Arkansas. Like Troy said the Husky is street legal, but the KTM might me too. My kids keep asking me about a motorcycle, but I keep saying maybe later... They have been bugging me about a dog too

Wow! Great write up and photos! So I thought re-greasing the head bearings, replacing the handlebars and installing a steering damper was a big project! I'm still waiting on the OEM radiator fan, apparently still on back order from BMW/Husqvarna USA :o Mike this should make those hard climbs much mo...

Sorry for the late posting, I had to make a quick trip to DC. My son and I enjoyed the show, but I thought the trials guy, Jeff Aaron, stole the show.
