Re: Husqvarna Nuda 900R
Adventure model? Wouldnt that be the F800? I like the Nuda Hank. Thanks for the clue in. Wish they had done more with the rear area though. How am I suppose to mount my wolfman dry bags back there. A bike like this has to be able to haul a couple bags or then its just a mountain carver for day use o...

Re: Eureka Springs, Arkansas August 19th-22nd
Ok, since Joplin was mentioned here I think I have you guys beat. I was in Little Rock that weekend and came through Joplin at 5 pm. The tornado hit at 6. I almost stayed for a bit to grab a bite to eat. It had been a long weekend and I just wanted to get home so I just did gas and took off. Didnt k...

Man, your a rock Stu. We are bail'n hay right now and even the guys with AC in the cab are call'n it quits by noon. Its just rough when it hits 105-8 during the day. I for some reason have to be very careful. I can get sick real quick in this heat. No matter how much water or Gatorade I drink. I hav...

Re: Plating an XR650R in wichita
I had my 2nd KLX tagged this last week here in ICT. She pulled back the cables and was looking at the sticker on the head tube. The cables had worn some of it off but she was looking for one word. CONFORMS. She said if that word is not on the head sticker, she cant pass it through inspection. Hayden...

CONGRATS. I had the 650 in that color once. Loved it. I find myself looking at 250s also. Local dealer has a KTM 250XCF-W. All tricked out with a 300 big bore kit. Its very tempting since it has a kansas tag to boot. I need to finish rebuilding my 1983 Honda Big Red 3 wheeler first though. Have fun ...

I remember some of that this last fall being groomed. They had a big Cat in there at some point and had cleaned up some of the blue loop. The up hills were not as bad as usual.

I hit both places a couple years ago on my way to and from Alaska. Very neat if you have never been to them in western Kansas. Anyway, once home i always wondered how they got the name but never looked it up. While reading some history on Jesse James last week, i came across this. http://www.skyways...

Re: 2001 DRZ400E idle issue
You sure you don't have an air leak somewhere? Between intake boot and motor. This rubber takes on many heat cycles and becomes hard and Can shrink some. My KLK had a hanging idle that was fixed by adjusting the valves too. This could also be the issue. Check that if you don't know they are right. S...

2011 Triumph 800XC
So has anyone looked at these yet? Looks very sharp and pretty simular to the BMW F800. I like what they came up with and the 5gal tank is just perfect. Using thier Speed Triple 3 cyclinder and a 6 speed. I really want to try one. Even more so than the F800. Much better looking IMO than the New Yama...

Re: Off-Road Trail Riding At School Creek Sunday, October 3r
Sat was a long day and they got alot done. They worked pretty late Fri too. With the nice weather, doesnt seem like they are in too big a rush. I took off about 8:30 am to the tune of 38 degrees on sun. Looks like i should have taken off this whole week. Low 80s by mid week with nothing but sunshine...
