Re: Council Grove Routes

We had a blast this weekend!!! I did use some of the routes that Safiri provided and did alot of improvising along the way. It was also Kamp Kansas meet at Canning Creek!! Council Grove Routes

I will be camping at Coucil Grove this weekend and was wondering if anyone had any routes from the Flint hills stampede?? It was pretty rainy last year so I didn't get to ride as much as I would have liked and would like to do at least one of the routes if anybody still has the routes saved

Re: BMW Pulls out of Wichita and KC?

So is BMW wanting o expand their product influence or just being stuck up??? It sounds like they want exclusivity but all that does is drive up prices not quality. If you look at the automotive field, brands like oldsmobile that sold great when popular but when popualrity and ability to stay cutting...

[Something that I do for fun---not actually part of my route building--is load the GPX file in Google Earth. http://www.google.com/earth/ (You need the Plus or Pro account to do this...Plus is $20/year.) It can be fun to view the route in Google Earth and "fly" through the route. I hope this discuss...

Re: Garmin 60CX and Mapsource

I agree with Safiri, Mapsource is off not the GPS, I've never experianced the 60csx being so far off I was unable to find the correct rode. I most recently used mine while snowboarding at Crested Butte and Keystone. Held up great!! Its really fun to see how much ground you cover while skiing through...

Re: The official "exotic bike" club

I've had lot of work done at Dan's Cycle there in Hesston and have never had a complaint abouth their service department. They put a new stator on my old 87 goldwing a few years ago. That was the most major work they've done for me. Their prices are reasonable and all of their techs ride dirt bikes ...

Lawrence to Estes Park Co, Mid Aug

So I've been dying to get back to Colorado for some motorcycling. The wifes folks have invited us out for a whole week in Rocky Mountain National Park in celebrating her mothers retirement from 27 years a elementary school teacher. I'm thinking of using my Lawrence to Hays route that I did this past...

Re: Dakar '08 Canceled

One bad apple can ruin the whole harvest. Its dissapointing to see the dakar canceled especially as these types of raid rallys are gaining popularity in the US. I was anxious to see if Mitsubishi has gonna hang on to their domination or see how the American Hummer team would do. The people that comm...
