Re: LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2-DAY!

Troy, I have told you over and over, I CAN'T GO! I understand it will not be as much fun without me but I have made other plans. Let it go please. And Ann can't go either. Please double-check with Ann to see if she can make this ride. If anything changes in her plans, she is welcome to join us--eve...

Re: KTM OWNERS read this.

I am willing to sell my 2007 KTM 450 EXC. This is a street-legal from the factory dirt bike! I have beat the crap out of it and the countershaft sprocket is leaking right now. Fresh valve adjustment and muffler repack. Handguards, skid plate. Special RideForum.NET discount price of only $5,000. I wi...

Re: LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2-DAY!

Why not... I'm in if I can hitch a ride or car pool. I got a crew cab truck and can carry four bikes as well if needed. Been wanting to ride there for years. Jim COOL, Jim! I was going to email you to make sure you saw this thread. Glad you can make it! I'm adding you to the rider list in 1st post....

Re: LABOR DAY WEEKEND 2-DAY!

Is there an area for kids to ride? Link's place does not have a kids track per say, but a kid could definitely enjoy riding his/her dirt bike on Link's property--especially when compared to nowhere to ride a dirt bike like in my subdivision. (I know you have a bit of land and a little track for you...

That is a good one!

After one ram I would be gone!
I bet that ram would be tasty with a nice BBQ glaze and perhaps deep fried? Wash him down with a frosty mug of RJ's homemade root beer!

Re: Goats worry me more than horses......

If you did not see that ram coming and he hit you in the knees from the front or side, I imagine the injury could be a bit severe. Once the guy grabs the ram's horns, the ram did not seem to aggressive. Seems his only defense is the initial ram...I did not expect it to chase him down the road! Guess...

THAT IS HILARIOUS! Pretty scary in person I imagine! Technically a sheep, and probably a ram (male sheep with his parts intact).

Re: Kanopolis/Ellsworth County

Kyle and I dualsported around Kanopolis Lake many years ago on our KLRs. It is a unique area. I've seen the Mushroom Rocks--pretty interesting. I did not know about the caves. You would have been very close to Marquette, KS. Did you go see the motorcycle museum ? Or have you already been there? I ha...

Re: Any interest in a Pomme De Terre ride 8/9,10,11?

As I recall, the NE corner of that loop--gravel roads N of Hwy 54--have some low water bridges that could see some heavy flow. A friend and I actually cried uncle at one and retreated. It was relatively long, covered in green slime, and had a swift flow. I look forward to hearing the report!

Re: WHERE to ride

Great list. Can we start one on scenic dirt/gravel roads very close to the greater KC area? Stuff we can hit on the long way home? I don't think folks are ignoring this post. I think the issue the serious lack of "scenic dirt/gravel roads" very close to the metro. Do you think Mission Hills and the...

Re: WHERE to ride

I want to explore this glade top area but the only plated bike I have is the 990 adv. Anyone think this bike is too big for those trails or terrain? I echo what Eddie said. I'm not an expert for the Glade Top Trails, but the actual "Glad Top Trail" is a major traveled, wide, mostly smooth gravel ro...
