Re: Kansas Rally Team to the Sonora Rally 2020

Jared made a great video! It looks like his nav tower is all hung off the handlebars which means all that weight is part of the steering?! When I look at the pro rally bikes, the nav tower does not turn with the bars. Correct?

Lyndon Poskitt's Africa Eco Race 2020 Series

Some of you have been following Lyndon Poskitt's "Races 2 Places" adventures for the last couple years. He is currently racing in the Africa Eco race and built a team of 5 riders including himself. He is putting out a high-quality 20 minute daily episode. It is wonderful--never has anyone helped you...

Re: School Creek / Milford clean up!

No way I can this month. Also find it funny those folks don't reach out to me about this stuff after all the work I did to organize a clean up day through them a few years back. :-D

Re: Ducati Scrambler X Concept at EICMA in Milan

I've never run brake disc protectors. After hundreds of hours on terribly rocky, technical trails with lots of other riders for over 10 years, not one time has a rider been stranded due to a brake disc issue. I'm sure it happens, but from my experience, the risk % is too small to care. In fact, at l...

Market niche is way too small so I don't imagine that bike making it to production in a successful way. That front fender is stupid considering the agg...

Re: 2019 Long Pool State Park

The dualsport riding in that area is SO GOOD! Any track recommendations from Bohawk are sure to satisfy! It looks like you had some fantastic weather for your adventure! A lot of those water crossings were a long way across! A nice pucker-factor! About halfway through you have text that says "Crossi...

I saw this story on the news yesterday. https://i.imgur.com/1NR1T0q.jpg I was thinking the other day how much I miss riding your trails and being on the farm in general. It's been a strange year for sure. You probably should have planted rice out there! http://www.sandianet.com/thailand/bDSC_0119.jp...

Ironic. I just wrecked into a school bus full of kindergartners because I was reading this thread while driving. Oops.

Re: the purpose of trailer safety chains ... (pictures fixed)

Scary! Agree 100%. That trailer hitch could have easily killed passengers in your 4Runner. :-o

Like you, I had not considered that possibility. I always thought of the chains to avoid a run-away trailer to mostly prevent injury to oncoming traffic.

Montrose, Colorado -- dirt bike heaven

I just returned from the best week I ever spent on a dirt bike. My long-time dirt bike riding buddies, Chad & Colleen, moved from St. Louis to Montrose, CO almost 3 years ago. About a week after he moved out there, it seemed he was posting a new YouTube video every week of some new great trail they ...
