Nope, no pictures I was too busy ridingSavage wrote:Where did you go (roughly)? Any pics?
See attached file of where I went, I took quite a few dead ends, that is part of discovering, sometimes it goes through and sometimes it does not so I have to ride it twice

Re: Ride around Manhattan Saturday Oct 13th
You guys missed out on a nice ride, weather was almost perfect just got a little bit wet on the way back. Found some new low maintenance roads, not quite as good as box turtle but still pretty good! It is good to be back East!

Re: Ride around Manhattan Saturday Oct 13th
Whats your plated dirt bike? I can sneak out for short little rides from time to time, but not all-dayers. I doubt you'd want to ride with me anyway as I heard you're a fast one. I'm not. That's why I ride a KLR. :D http://gagnaou.smugmug.com/Family/On-the-Prairies-of-Kansas-2011/i-m6Jm2Xp/0/L/P110...

Ride around Manhattan Saturday Oct 13th
Anybody up for a ride Saturday leaving from Manhattan and coming back to Manhattan? I will be on my plated dirtbike, so the rougher the better. It will be as much low maintenance roads as I can and minimum pavement. I have not mapped a route yet, but depending on the interest I may. A couple of guys...

Nice day at Milford!
It was my first time at Milford, I had a very nice time. Some places were kind of overgrown, but I loved the rocky trail that follows the lake and the up and downs on the other side! I got to meet some of you out there, hopefully we'll get to meet there in the future again. Now that I live not too f...

Re: Eastern Wabaunsee Co. Saturday - May 5th *Change*
No Kidding! I had to remind myself to pay extra attention as there were quite a few roads with pretty serious wash out. Box Turtle, I was thinking today riding through it that it's been 6 years since last time I rode it. The worst part almost seems to have gotten better, but the easier parts got wor...

Larry and team, I think I saw some of your tacks today, I went back in the same area, it was a lot of fun. For the ones of you that have never been in the are, it is a must do in KS, some of the best low maintenance roads IMHO. http://gagnaou.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/ride-NE-KS/i-FknT6gC/0/XL/2012-05...

Re: Dusty Butt 1,000 :?
I would think that perfect timing would be sometimes between the first and 15th of June to beat harvest and not worry too much about the corn. Plus that is at that time that days should be the longest anyways too!

Re: Dusty Butt 1,000 :?
Luc, glad you are ok. How's the bike? Perhaps late June / early July would be better? Hot, but more daylight ... And the deer aren't in rut. Definitely not a bad idea! Sure would take anything to avoid those deer, I was feeling like I was riding quite conservatively for the conditions, but obviousl...
