Rick, I just added one section of trail specifically for you
a couple of rock steps followed by some loose rocks and a 90 degree turn to go up the 7 or 8 feet bank
Do not worry guys for the ones not wanting the challenge, there is an easy bypass!

Re: Fall TARkansas ride
Looking forward to hear how it went. Until this morning I was hoping to be able to join, but plans came to a halt when it ended up becoming obvious that titling the bike was going to take significantly more doing than expected... Oh well there will be another time! I downloaded the tracks !

Re: Fun ride in Manhattan November 2nd
I don't know why, and no disrespect meant to anyone, but Luc's trails looked a whole lot more fun (challenging) on Savage's video. I even went back and looked at Lucs' to see if it was the same place. I think Savage's video quality really made a difference. In any case, I can't wait to ride those t...

Re: Fun ride in Manhattan November 2nd
Oops, my message from my phone was messed up!
Thanks guys for coming , it was fun. Glad you guys liked the trail, always hard to find the right balance, too slow, too fast, too technical, too easy, etc... Hopefully there will be a little bit of everything for everybody!

Re: Fun ride in Manhattan November 2nd
Looks like a lot of fun Luc! I was wanting to ride over and help break the trails in this weekend as well, but then the storms started rolling in this week. I bet it's pretty muddy out there right now, I know my place is. It Is Up To You Kyle, We WillRider Some, MaybeNotAsLongIfItTreatsUpTheGroundT...

Re: Fun ride in Manhattan November 2nd
Got a pretty decent deal on a 2013 FE 501, same suspension as 2014 KTM the way I understand it. Fork is nice, but I probably need to get shock and forks resprung and revalved, I think I am too heavy for it... http://gagnaou.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/various/i-Smpk2GD/0/L/IMG_8422-L.jpg Need to spend s...

Fun ride in Manhattan November 2nd
This has been a long time in the making, but it is finally going to happen, I am organizing a ride in Manhattan. For those of you who don't know me, my wife and I had been fortunate to find a place with some acreage. It has been almost 3 years now, but since then the idea was to have some kind of a ...

No kidding! I am still puzzled on how you can put that many miles on a dual sport bike and have it look that pristine. This a very nice bike!katbeanz wrote:That is one beautiful machine! Congrats!

It is just a path in the pasture mainly Hold on now....Kyle has the mini enduro cross track, but not much of an enduro trail. Luc has a mini e...

Re: Back in the stable
Macwildcat, if you want to preride it before you go out west, you should come by my place sometimes. I cleared up the trail you tried out last time you were there... Same with you Savage, I just need to do a little bit more before I tried to organize a ride forum event there

Re: Trans Kansas Trail anyone
 How fast do you ride? 650 miles of gravel equates to 2.5 to 3 days for me. Well, out west as Troy mention you can see forever and I have quite a few stretches without turns so you can make some time. Out east it is slower because of visibility and the number of turns you have to deal with.....
