I'm actually thinking a TE 610 SM with a spare set of dirt wheels is exactly what the doctor ordered. Now if I could just find that winning scratcher's ticket around here, I'd be set.

Re: Husky models
Troy, If you look under the Current Models tab, than the Enduro row, underneath the TE 250, TE 450, and TE 510 model they all say DOT-Legal. However, you are correct that none of them have turn signals, (or a brake light, from what I can tell in the pictures) so an observant DMV worker (ha ha, when ...

Re: Rulo, NE for Catfish and Pie 11/3
Got some pictures up on my smugmug from the Saturday ride to Rulo. http://iyeager.smugmug.com/gallery/3771124#217156600 I'm thinking maybe next weekend if the weather holds above the fifties to get bundled up, throw the TKC's on and ride Troy's route. Right now they're saying rain and 65 for Saturda...

Rulo, NE for Catfish and Pie 11/3
Short notice, I know. I forgot that everyone on here isn't addicted to ADVrider like some of us. It's gonna be mainly asphalt, but dirt guys could ride River road up there and just meet in town for lunch. Here's the link to the ADV thread... http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=280471 Ian

Re: Wish we had one of these in the KC area
I guess KC Parks and Rec is only interested in providing land to big MONEY makers and not us offroad riders. They don't even have the guts to tell us they did this. Rick, I'm all for having riding places close to home. But honestly, I've known about KCI motorsports since they got turned down to bui...

Re: Ozark Fall Colors Tour Next Weekend Last Minute Invite
Cool, we probably don't need three campsites for the three of us. I figure with two campsites we'll feel like kings. My tent's tiny, and Gordon's ain't that big either.
I'm hoping for a fire as well, it's gonna be chilly at night.

Out of Belton at 9:00, south on 71 to 7 to 13 to Springfield. We're meeting another Strom in Collins at 10:30. Lunch in Crane at Ole Hickory Steak and Catfish House. Southeast from Crane to the Bull Shoals ferry by way of 413, 160, and 125. Meander south on AR7 and 123 to Clarksville. Set up camp, d...

Re: Ozark Fall Colors Tour Next Weekend Last Minute Invite
Yeah, Gordon and I are leaving on Friday morning to ride down there. We'll be riding pavement 95% of the time. We're camping at Spadra too. Dean when you showing up? You want to save a spot for Gordo and I, or the other way around if we get there before you? Supposedly you can't reserve spots in AR ...

Yeah, depending on where you are along that road Mapquest calls it either 215, County Road 32, NF1003, or County Road 83.

I believe that the FCT this year is being coined a "Non-Organized Ride." Most people are going to do their own thing it sounds like.

DS Shops in the area???
Looking for a Dual Sport shop in the area. I've been using Cafe Racer for all my two-wheeled needs, but they are mostly focused on sportbikes and their derivatives and look at me funny when I bring in my Strom with TKC's on it. Not to mention that Greg's getting pretty old and grumpy now-a-days. Mai...
